- Kabbalah
- Presents ten spheres representing cardinal attributes, showing their
interrelationship. Approaches range from dark occult to very pure.
- Gematria
- comparison and elucidation of words and phrases based on numeric values
of Hebrew or Greek letters.
- Bible/Torah
Code - The most widely recognized approach, based on equidistant
letter sequences. Made famous by Michael Drosnin's The
Bible Code. The software
mentioned below enables one to do this without knowing Hebrew. The
claim that such codes are confined to the Torah has not held up, for they
also appear in other writings. But that does not discredit the fact
that there are modern people and events encoded with a significant
specificity in the Bible.
