Native Americans from Four Winds (DNA Smorgasbord)
Dear Sterling,
I just had to pipe up regarding this topic, as I am a descendant of the Cherokee and other pre-Columbian inhabitants of America, not because my DNA makes me any type of authority or expert, but perhaps because it is probably a factor in the passion I feel for this topic. The understanding I have been given is that the pre-Columbian inhabitants of this land and their descendants are descended from the 4 Directions. There is an indigenous strand of DNA and - originally peoples - that emerged from the 'center place' (Native American lingo, not just Mormon) of this continent and that there have been many waves of migrations since then from other continents, cultures, and time periods. This is true of all countries and cultures. We are all a mixture of many cultures and nations. We are ALL related! Three sources that I must whole-heartedly recommend are the work of Gunnar Thompson, an accredited college professor who has proved time and time agai have originated in a location between America and Europe. This genetic type entered America in about 10,000 B.C. and could be the result of migrations from the mythical land of Atlantis. Another genetic type could be from the mythical land of Mu. Mound Builders also shows how evidence essentially confirms that a series of migrations to America from Semitic lands began in 3000 B.C. This evidence is compared to Mormon ideas. In addition, Mound Builders shows how several mound sites were built in accordance with Platos descriptions of Atlantis and how numerous mound complexes were arranged to reflect the Belt of Orion. Mound Builders is truly a compelling, comprehensive look at the archaeological and genetic evidence from ancient America and the first genuine analysis of Cayces readings on history. Contains 144 pictures/illustrations. About the Author Dr. Greg Little has a masters degree in psychology and doctorate in counseling from Memphis State University. He is a Nationally Certified
I also think that Glenn Kimball, and his hundreds of research links at his website: www.ancientmanuscripts.com
, are making a very valuable contribution to this field of study.
Please post these resources on your new DNA page if you will.
Sincerely,
m
