bullet 2. Overview of Evidences

To give you an idea at the outset of what will be presented as evidence in this case, the following briefly lists some of the key sources that will be examined in this treatise.

Focal point of the chiasm(4) of JST(5)-II Thessalonians ii:1-14.
Validation of II Thes. 2 chiasm through parallel(6) to Isaiah 66:1-15.
Word search on "Cast Out" in the scriptures; spotlight of Isaiah 66:5.
Cross reference between JST-Mark 9:41,43,48; Isaiah 66:24 and D&C 76:44.
Webster's on prove, provisional, Provo, provocation
Webster's on hierarchy, him, hinder
Old and New Testament Lexicons on words number 47 and 4150
Words surrounding Lucifer, temple, reveal, remove in the Old Testament Lexicon
Words surrounding Jesus and Joseph in the New Testament Lexicon
Words surrounding blaspheme in the New Testament Lexicon
Words surrounding Gog and David in New Testament Lexicon
Words surrounding Golgotha, Gomorrah, gospel in the Bible concordance.
Word #666 in Old and New Testament Lexicons.

You can see from this list that the Bible and the English Dictionary play prominently -- both of which are found in most homes today. The Lexicons may not be as common, but they are obtainable in most bookstores (by order if not on the shelf). The only source that may be more challenging to obtain (though not unfeasible) is Joseph Smith's "New Translation" (JST) of the Bible. This is built into the footnotes/appendix of the King James Bible published by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS/Mormons). A separate volume by that title can be obtained from either an LDS or RLDS(7) church.

In the mouth of two or three witnesses the Lord establishes the truth of all things. Far surpassing this minimum, the Lord delights in proving the truths of Jesus Christ by a host of evidences. One finding alone would not be sufficient to establish the case, though it would certainly be interesting to consider. Now, due to the nature of these witnesses, I'm not even sure how to credit the multitudinous sources of witnessing that there are. In some regards, it might be said that every person who has ever lived on this earth has contributed to provide these witnesses (and every person will likewise be answerable for their ramifications -- the extent being dependent on varying accountability).

A minimum list of direct, prophetic witnesses would include (in the order of my discovery) Paul, Isaiah, Jesus Christ, and Joseph Smith. These could be considered the most significant representatives from the Old Testament, New Testament and the modern restoration eras.

In addition to these most esteemed witnesses are an indirect, and surprising, yet nonetheless substantial, as well as venerable list of contributors, including Noah Webster, William Shakespeare, James Strong, H.W.F. Gesenius, Spiros Zodhiates, and others (and I feel bad that I am not more knowledgeable to be able to give due credit to other key individuals) who have played pivotal roles in compiling and elaborating upon the English, Hebrew and Greek languages. These are the three languages most responsible for perpetuating the scriptural heritage to the ends of the earth. Though I emphasize these three, my strong premonition is that every language on earth bears witness to the truth in a manner similar to what we will see illustrated in this treatise.

How do you credit the formation and usage of the English language, for example? While a few foreordained to the task have made monumental contributions, such as those mentioned above, in some ways it might be said that virtually everyone makes an impact on the language of the whole: whether it be through a new process or invention, the naming of a child, or some expression coined by a colorful personality. The smallest contributors might not make an entry, but they still have an impact.

However, the most significant factor in language usage and perpetuation comes back to the Bible. Even if its theological value were absent (though the opposite is true), by virtue of its being the most-read book on earth it is established as the primary standard of language usage. Therefore all the Biblical prophets have contributed to this witness, not only directly in their messages, but indirectly in their language. This same principle holds true for all the prophets, poets and sages through time because of their impact on the people.

It is in language ("the word") where we find such specific and no less profound discoveries related to the unveiling of the anti-Christ and the exaltation of our God and His Christ. Therefore, because of the pivotal role that the Bible especially plays in the formation and perpetuation of the English language, the witnesses provided herein from the English dictionary should not be seen as purely secular. Yes, the English language includes secular and even pagan sources. The beauty of the witnesses that emerge from the English dictionary is that they turn these secular and pagan origins upside-down, using them to expose the anti-Christ and testify of our God and his Christ. Who would have ever supposed...?

As you read carefully through these things, and find yourself outside of your comfort zone at times, be mindful to scrutinize what it is you find uncomfortable. If is an opinion of mine, then you have licence to disagree. I won't mind. But if it is something validated in the stone of our language, then your questions need to be brought before the Lord, to let him help you come to terms with what it is you have difficulty accepting. Consider my opinion to be but the foul breath by which the dust that has been on these things is puffed away so you can observe them for yourself. At first, as the dust goes flying, you might find yourself coughing a bit, but with the dust removed and the treasures in plain sight, hopefully you will forgive me for my unpleasant task.

Schopenhauer
All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
