These evidences pertain most poignantly to the world of Mormonism because of the degree
of accountability Latter-day Saints have due to the tremendous light that has been
downloaded from the heavens to them. Ironically, while they will tend to be offended at
first at the ramifications of this treatise, they ought to be flattered, for this is yet
another proof that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as restored by Joseph
Smith is indeed what he claimed it to be. Nevertheless, the scenario also applies strongly
to the world of Christianity at large, as well as its mother, Judaism, for they too have
been called to be the salt of the earth. To a certain extent it applies to the other main
religious of the world as well, depending on the degree of enlightenment they proffer.
Indeed, it might be said that each of these world religions will see a "Man of
Sin" emerge from their own ranks, one whom they will tend to place before God. The
reason the Mormon Man of Sin is featured as the epitome case is because the Mormons have
been given more light an knowledge than any other people on earth. They are the most
accountable, and can fall the furthest.
Those who join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints become numbered among
those whom the Lord has ordained specifically to be his husbandmen to prepare for his
latter-day advent. The anti-Christ that emerges from this corporate body will have ripple
effects that will affect the world at large. Those who operate as anti-Christs in other
religions will exhibit the same patterns as the Man of Sin from the Mormon kingdom, though
not on as grand, subtle or damning a scale.
The evidences I have discovered (the focus of this treatise) relates to the Mormon
anti-Christ. However, I give it as my opinion that in addition to this anti-Christ, who
comes from the realm of the world's most accountable religion, there will also arise an
anti-Christ from the realm of the emerging world socialist government. That person will be
the world-class tyrant (viewed as a brilliant, benevolent master by his converts) who will
lord it over the whole earth -- the Isaiah 10 Assyrian-king type. My personal opinion
is that Mikhail Gorbachev will play that role. ( -- A separate topic, for a separate
treatise, when and if I should find sufficient evidences to do so.(8)
Maybe someone else gets to do that one.) The Son of Perdition that emerges from the Mormon
kingdom, along with his deluded flock, will be confederate with the global tyrant --
as the current trend woefully indicates. For this reason alone, it would be well, for the
sake of our salvation, to recognize the man and the issues so that our allegiance can be
firmly with God and his principles.
In the following pages, numerous prophecies will be cited in relation to anti-Christs.
The antecedents for these prophecies are not always obvious. Bear in mind that there may
be at least two key such individuals: the one from the world's most accountable religion,
Mormonism, and the other from the body of world government at large. The former is called
the Son of Perdition, having risen high enough in his spiritual progression to become
such. The later is the government ultra-tyrant, charismatic and ruthless.
I do not profess to full accuracy in my application of these prophecies; and I would
ask in advance for your pardon for my tendency to state things too affirmatively at times
when what I am saying may actually have some inaccuracy. My motivation in making my best
attempt, with trust in the Lord, is to be of assistance in enabling you, the reader, in
your quest to understand. We each have our gifts and callings to bless one another and
serve the body of Christ. I proceed in this weighty task in order to be faithful to what
God has placed in my heart, notwithstanding being filled with a harrowing sense of my own
inadequacy. The ultimate accountability for your understanding is between you and
God -- none other.
It is the Mormon Man of Sin that the things I have discovered point to specifically by
name and circumstances. He will be the one who will fulfil II Thes. ii, Isa. 66, and
D&C 85, among many other prophecies.
This person is not someone who most would ever even begin to consider as a candidate.
The "strong delusion" (Isa. 66:4 and 2 Thes. 2:11) is working very well. Even
those of my acquaintances who know a great deal about the latter-day scenarios have a hard
time believing what is indicated about this person. Actually, I add myself among those
who, upon considering this man, have at times had difficulty seeing him as the one who
will fulfill these prophecies.
Our traditional programming has taught us that this latter-day anti-Christ must be some
kind of massively evil man, who would make one shudder to be in his presence. That, I
believe, simply is not the case -- at least not at this point.
Remember how high one must go before falling to be a son of perdition. Might it be safe
to guess that this premier anti-Christ position will entail a very high rise before the
fall? For this man, his spiritual rise may not yet be over; and the coming fall may be
somewhat gradual. The Lord's anointed Saul(9) did not
consult the wizards until the very end.(10)
In Jesus' parable of the husbandmen, the issue is not that the husbandmen are not
supposed to watch over the vineyard. The issue is that they seek to usurp the Lord.
Inasmuch as the bottom line of this discussion is to unveil the inherent
flaw of placing trust in man more than God, it is only appropriate that the approach
itself is based not on any one man's opinion, but on God's wisdom -- an entire
testament encrypted in the scriptures and the language patterns ("the word")
they form, made plain through the witness of the Holy Ghost. When we seek unto the
standard of Isaiah 11:3,4 in which we do not judge after the sight of the eyes, nor
reprove after the hearing of the ears, but rely on the rod of God's mouth and the breath
of his lips, then we will be able to discern the Man of Sin, though he appears as a very
holy man; and we will be able to discern Saint, though he appear as a loathsome sinner.
Left to ourselves to discern by our own eyes and ears, at this stage we may tend to extol
this pending Man of Sin as an extremely good man. Indeed, he epitomizes the
"righteousness" which the current Mormon culture has come to promote (fulfilling
D&C 1:16).
Some people, who have become awakened to a sense of our awful situation in regard to a
secret combination that has nearly accomplished its aim of establishing a world socialist
government, have come to look on this man with suspicion. He does not appear to be awake
on important issues pertaining to this awesome rise of Satan's kingdom. If he is aware, he
is silent, which is a cardinal sin for a watchman of the Lord. His courting the communist
and other tyrannical butchers in order to get missionaries into their countries, and his
persecution of the patriots who seek to become informed and prepared, should be a major
warning signal to those who wait upon the Lord. His corollary favoring of the savvy
business executives of Babylon who exploit the cheep, slave labor, for mega wealth is also
a signal that he is not aligned as a man of God should be. One of the most gut-wrenching
things to observe has been the effect that this man's (along with that of most of his
colleagues') outward blindness has had in pacifying his already slumbering flock. His
willful blindness greatly facilitates the intentional deception that is being hoisted on
us about communism being dead and there being no conspiracy to establish a world
dictatorship (fulfilling 2 Ne. 28:22). Those with an inclination to become involved in
fighting for freedom are too often mollified by the stance the Church appears to take in
support of whatever government is in power. The "just follow the brethren" edict
breeds the equally folly-ridden sentiment of, "support your government -- no
matter what;" along with the lie that "you will be blessed;" when the
reality is that you will be consigned to hell fire and damnation for such abrogation of
accountability.
These observations in conjunction with a reading of scriptural prophecy should urge
anyone to caution about blindly following this man and his colleagues. Nevertheless, these
observations alone -- however true they may be -- are not the driving element
for the current treatise, though they are significantly validated in the evidences set
forth. We are not talking here about outward observations or exerting one's best
judgement, which is limited for any person. This treatise sets forth standards of
judgement that surpass man's weakness, for they can be attributed only to God. In concert
with the Spirit, they present a more sure witness, one which is anchored in Christ.
Sometimes, left to my own understanding, wallowing in a sense of my personal inadequacy
compared to these great men who travel the world and have access to far more information
than I do, I have wondered if maybe there isn't some higher plan that I just am not able
to see from my lowly, layman perspective. I have been counseled to that effect and have at
times even wondered myself: "Could the true test be for the humble followers to
be unwaveringly obedient to these men God has called even in the face of such seemingly
incongruous leadership? And when the truth is known and we see the reasons, we will be so
glad that we passed the test, for it will be clear that our leaders were doing just what
they were supposed to do. Those who balk, finding fault with the leaders in this or that
thing fail this grand test for becoming like God." The fear of failing this
obedience test has an extremely powerful effect on the hearts and minds of a people who
are programmed for obedience.
The ultimate question is, "Ultimate obedient to whom? God? ... or man?"
This is the issue that is at the core of the test -- and of the current treatise.
Those who say that obedience to their leaders is synonymous with obedience to God,
regardless of the teachings or actions of those men, have made their leaders their god.
They play in to the Man of Sin mentality, worshiping him as god. Those who know the proper
place of man: to point them to God, will never allow this idolatry to cause them to deny
the Christ, who is the only sure foundation upon which man might build.
One night not long ago (six months?) I had a dream about this man who is poised to be
the anti-Christ. In the dream, which I believe was from God, this man told me how much he
loved me. I likewise, with equally genuine sincerity, told him how much I loved him.
Another time, the Spirit of God filled me with so much love for him and his associates
that I wept greatly for many minutes, and I prayed for him, his associates, the Church,
the nation, and the world.
I still have that feeling of softness and charity toward him; and I even believe that
he would feel that way about me today if removed from any bias. I realize that this may
sound like a huge contradiction.
Because of agency, I believe that technically this man could still repent at this
point. The Lord would simply allow another to fill the job (no lack of substitute
candidates) -- unless the people as a whole also repented, which would be fantastic, but
not realistic. Like with the Jew's crucifixion of their God, there is a grand purpose to
be fulfilled in this scenario playing itself out. Still, there are a huge number of
variables which depend on our repentance, which will effect the severity of what takes
place. My prayer is that many, if not all, of God's children might repent. However,
because of agency as indicated by prophecy, not all will accept God's will at this time.
Nevertheless, let us praise the Lord for the powerful effect the unfolding of this
scenario with the anti-Christ will have in producing repentance on a huge scale.(11) The turning of the kingdoms of this world (religious and
political) to our God and his Christ, along with all the saints who overcome and inherit
that kingdom, is the triumphal phoenix that will arise from these ashes.
Though this man who is poised to be the Man of Sin could repent at this point, the
evidences suggest that he willfully came in to the task -- like Lucifer or Caiaphas both
of whom (in my opinion) at some point will have an opportunity on some other earth at some
eternally far distant time, having repented because of the love and grace extended to
them, to give it another chance.
Wherefore, I revoke not the judgments which I shall pass, but woes shall go forth,
weeping, wailing and gnashing or teeth, yea, to those who are found on my left hand.
Nevertheless, it is not written that there shall be no end to this
torment, but it is written endless torment. Again, it is written eternal
damnation; wherefore it is more express than other scriptures, that it might work upon the
hearts of the children of men, altogether for my name's glory. For, behold, I am endless,
and the punishment which is given from my hand is endless punishment, for Endless is my
name. (D&C 19:5-7,10.)
They might not get it out now, but they can get it later, though sooner would be
better, so that they might not have to suffer so.
The irony, is that as time has gone on and my heart has grown softer toward this man, I
have also found more solid manifestations which point to him. On the outside, he may be
seen teaching things which are good, which point to Christ, which invite people to turn
their lives to God.
How then, could he possibly be the Man of Sin?
Isaiah said, "They draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from
me." Who would have ever supposed that a church that calls itself by the name of
Christ, claims to be the only true church of Jesus Christ, and talks of him quite
regularly would cultivate such a paradox?
I have spent a great deal of time in the past couple of years looking at the doctrine
of Christ -- the gospel; the fundamentals. In so doing it has become clear to me that
the cultural tradition called Mormonism currently being promulgated is an adulterated
version of the pure yet powerful doctrine of Christ restored through the prophet Joseph
Smith and taught in plainness in the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants in harmony
with the Old and New Testaments. The Mormons have done to the doctrine nearly the same
thing that the Jews did: turning the worship of God into a system of strict regimentation
which focuses on the outward performance of self-righteous acts, not inner change, from
which God's righteousness flows.
Though their scriptures are replete with the "born again" language, it is
rare to hear this phrase, let alone its meaning, spoken of in the Mormon culture. Even
more rare is the synonymous phrase: "baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost." The
word "grace" is usually quickly qualified by the archetypal Mormonism: "...After
all you can do." Yet the scriptural point, even in that case, is not meant to
emphasize our own works but to make the point that even after all we can do it is
still not enough except we come into the grace of God. Those who claim that Mormons are
not Christian, that they deny the grace of God, are more correct than Mormons would like
to think. In the entire Biography of President Hinckley, for example, there is only one
passing reference to the doctrine of the "mighty change," let alone to any of
its synonyms; and that reference is by the biographer, not a quotation of President
Hinckley. President Hinckley usually calls the "church" or the
"family" the anchor of society.
The focus in the doctrine of Christ is to come forth with a broken heart and contrite
spirit and receive not only the baptism of water but of fire and Holy Ghost, which will
bring about a mighty change of heart. When you consider the scriptural patterns of this
born again experience -- King Benjamin's people, Alma, the 300 Lamanites in prison,
the people at the time of Christ's appearing -- you can see why such a transformation
is truly life-altering on a most fundamental level. A person thus changed, who continues
as a little child, pressing forward, feasting on the words of Christ, is built on the only
sure foundation of Christ. The immutable promise for such is that the gates of hell will
not prevail against them. These are they who have repented and come to Christ and endure
in faith to the end. These are they who are the church of Christ. There is no other
spiritually legitimate definition.
Anything more or less than this is the same as building on a sandy foundation, which
foundation will crumble. Mormonism, speaking collectively, has become such, and will
tumble to the dust accordingly. The culture of Mormonism has replaced or usurped the
injunction to "follow Christ" with "follow the Brethren." Though they
still give sincere lip service to following Christ, the bottom line is obedience to the
authorities. The corollary delusion of the "follow the Brethren" dogma is:
"The prophet will never lead you astray, it is not in the program. If he were to tell
you to do something that was wrong and you did it, you would be blessed; but not to worry,
God would remove him out of his place before that would happen."(12)
This is religious socialism, taking away the responsibility of the people for their own
relationship with God; placing the prophet as the ultimate god for the people instead. It
is tyranny over the souls of men. It is anti-Christ. It is usurpation of the Lord's
position by the husbandmen.
The paradox of this delusion is that because we as a people have chosen this path, God,
honoring our agency, is going to allow us to realize the consequences of our folly-ridden
decision. The main manifestation of this will be our literal subjugation to the satanic,
tyrannical world government which we were supposed to expose and destroy but which will
wreak great havoc on us instead, deliverance coming only at the brink of annihilation.
Hence, God allows and even empowers the leaders of the people to lead them to the brink of
Hell, then he will step in -- just as they wanted. The Lord, whom ye seek shall
suddenly come to his temple; even the messenger of the covenant -- the new covenant,
which is the fullness of the gospel. That is when II Thes. ii, Isaiah 66, D&C 85, 64,
50, etc. will come to play.
The only legitimate function of a man of God is to lead others to God, not to step in
the place of god for the people. So long as they function as a humble servant of the
people in this fashion, they are servants of God. But when they begin to exercise
unrighteous dominion, seeking for themselves the trust that God alone deserves, they cut
themselves off from God and serve Satan instead.
The strength of this "follow the prophet" lie has been steadily increasing in
the Mormon culture. It seems the closer we get to the catastrophe of the consequences of
our folly, the louder is the cry, "All is well; we are doing better than ever before;
Carry on!" Those who begin awakening to our plight are persecuted by the very ones
who should be leading the fight. Many go back to sleep; but a few arise and put on
strength, pressing forward in the faith notwithstanding all persecution.
These are those who are valiant in the testimony of Jesus Christ, and they will be
gathered out as wheat into the garners. For some, that gathering will come as a result of
their being cast out of Mormonism. Their recognition and sharing of truth and their
devotion to God alone will have created situations unbearable to those who weald
unrighteous dominion over them. For others, the gathering will come through their
recognizing the inconsistency of the lies they are taught by man, compared to the truths
that have been distilled upon them by God; and they then commit to follow only God. That
will not necessarily mean they will leave the institution of Mormonism, for God may have a
calling for them there to bring others to Christ -- they may be called upon to linger
until the last moments.
Nevertheless, as the issues become clearer and more obvious, all are going to be
required to choose. The new wine of the new heart, with its new baptism --
administered without hands, for it comes from beyond the veil -- will not be able to
be put in the old bottles of regimented institutionalized religion. Once the law is sealed
and the testimony bound, the great and spacious building will topple to the ground. It
will be consumed by fire. Then will come the new heaven and the new earth. The people that
emerge will finally have been weaned from leaning on another man instead of God. He will
be their God, and they will be his people.
