"I can't get it out of my mind that you've got to publish this book."

Brief Abstract:
Compares Book of Mormon timeline with the historic/prophetic timeline of
the House of Israel from beginning to end. Also compares the combined timelines of those two
peoples with the spiritual progression of an individual. In both cases, the glorious
appearance of Jesus Christ is the pinnacle. Many sobering as well as inspiring
parallels. Evidences cited for the correlations being intended by the Lord, besides the most
obvious 'liken to us' injunction.

First edition completed in 1989, this manuscript has yet to find a
publisher.
Deseret Book considered it an nearly accepted it. 'I don't know that I've read a
more thorough analysis of the scriptures, particularly in terms of what they mean to us today,' is
what one Deseret Book chief editor said.
One of the reasons they declined it was that at the time the LDS Church was seeking favor with
Russia and China (still are) and that the book's anti-Communist quotes from Ezra Taft Benson would
hinder the Church's chances of getting missionaries into those countries. Deseret Book is
seen as the quasi official publishing arm of the LDS Church. Their publishing of this book
would be seen as an endorsement by the LDS Church of this point of view. (Heaven forbid that
the teachings of one revered by the Church as an Apostle and then Prophet would be considered
representative of the Church's stance on this matter.)
Several other LDS publishers were approached, but each declined.
The target audience is an inquiring LDS audience who loves the Book of Mormon and who
are interested in prophecy.
The manuscript will need another work-over before being published, but it doesn't need much
change. It is pretty well ready to go.
The largest obstacle to this being published is not the contents of the manuscript, but rather
is the politics of the fact that I, the author, have subsequently been excommunicated
from the LDS Church for 'apostasy.'

tell me about, or if you are a publisher and are interested in publishing this book.
