Subject: Op/Ed: Geneva Family Congress Not the Biggest UN Issue
David's Outcasts - http://www.GreaterThings.com/OpenForum/Davids_Outcasts.htm
Below is a report fresh in from Geneva from one of the Laneshine folks, along with several
of his associates, who are in attendance there.
He reports that LDS and Jewish representatives to the World Congress on Families are
together unified in proclaiming a bold, in-your-face expose of the evils of the UN version
of families.
These Laneshiners see this as a powerful validation of their paradigm that the
brethren, led by their Davidic Servant Gordon B. Hinckley, know exactly what is going on
and that they only withhold a warning voice for a time for the sake of the safety of the
members, and that in proper time they cut loose in exposing the evils of the socialist New
World Order, Satan's kingdom being set up on earth.
In their paradigm, this is now such a time. The brethren are showing their
backbone that we had supposed they did not have.
I will not argue that they are indeed showing backbone in standing against the
detrimental stances that the UN holds regarding the family.
However, I will not cede in the least that this represents a latent full awareness
about the whole scope of the secret combinations that seek to overthrow the freedom of all
lands, nations and countries.
The family has long been a central issue for the LDS church. In fact, I would
argue that they place more emphasis on the foundation of the family than they do on the
foundation of Christ.
The institutional church is not the rock. The family is not the rock. The
prophet is not the rock.
Christ is the rock.
Anything more or less than this is a sandy foundation.
The security of Zion is not in strong families but in individuals (whether or not in
strong families) who are anchored on the rock of Christ.
I believe that the LDS emphasis on the family, though superficially good, is in
practice and essence a subtle yet powerful form of idolatry, for again it diverts the
attention of the mind and heart from Christ as being the only sure foundation.
A family whose emphasis is first on Christ will be strong. While a family who
focuses on the family first, will fall under the pressures that come.
So am I surprised that the brethren and other stalwarts of LDS mainstreamdom would take
such a strong stance on the family? Not in the least.
Am I glad they take such a stance? In large measure yes.
But again, I believe that this emphasis without being considered in a more full context
of all that is before us by way of the dangers presented by Satan's New World Order,
becomes a distraction.
To make a comparison, it is like focusing on the Monica Lewinsky scandal when there are
far more dangerous and treasonable scandals afoot.
The upshot of that whole process was that President Clinton became a martyr and an
underdog in this relatively piddly offense, and has therefore become virtually untouchable
in his other scandals, any one of which are enough to warrant his removal from office and
from the land of the living.
Yes, the UN role in redefining the family is not a good thing.
But in comparison to the many other evils it perpetuates, this is a relatively trivial
matter.
The primary evil of the UN is its establishing of Satan's kingdom/government on earth
in opposition to the freedom that we were supposed to sustain as originally vouchsafed in
the preparatory Constitution of the United States.
The brethren today don't get even close to addressing that one. The voice of
courage found in past pulpits has been put to rest. Indeed, they actually support
and even promote some of these usurpations of freedom, as I have pointed out previously.
While the church is looking like a courageous tiger to the Laneshiners, I wouldn't be
surprised but that the upshot of this whole episode will be an increased veneration by the
LDS mainstream of the UN body as a legitimate forum for world debate and
"democracy."
What they see is the Church participating in a UN conference, setting the UN straight
on the family, which removes the evil from the UN, right?
Not!!!!
Sincerely,
Sterling D. Allan

Subject: Re: Judah and Joseph -- Removing the Veil
Sterling --
Wish you could be here with us at the World Congress on Families II in Geneva --
especially at today's Plenary Session. A few of us from the land of Shinehah2 are here --
just a stone's throw from the Wilson Palace, a Memorial Hotel to Woodrow Wilson and his
efforts with the League of Nations, the Federal Reserve, the IRS Act, and the UN.
The diplomacy and political correctness of the first day just turned into an "in
your face" discourse given by Elder BRHafen (of the 70) and Rabbi Daniel Lapin,
author of "America's Real War." My time on the internet is very limited today,
but wanted to give you a flavor of the gospel as being proclaimed at what Elder Hafen
called "The Headwaters of Thought on Family Policy" that is being prepared to
present to the UN-believers at the First Plenary Session of the UN in February.
Rabbi Lapin told a standing room congregation -- translated in four languages -- that
there are only two churches on earth today -- the UN's church of tyranny, led by false
priests, and the Church of the Good Book, the Passover Lamb of eternal life. Choose ye
this day.
It was classic BoM doctrine -- espoused like ETB used to do -- only without the veiled
message.
Elder Hafen gave an inspiring discourse on "Gods Police" -- the moral compass
of women and mothers, who were sent to the Garden to make that which is "not
good" so much better. It was the portion of an earlier GenConf talk that he did not
give.
He took off the gloves. The veil was removed. The veiled messages were gone.
It was in your face time in Geneva -- two hours ago. It was like watching the sons of
Levi offering again an offering righteousness -- on Mount Ephraim. Judah and Joseph, each
taking their stand on the same issue, supporting each other. Judah did not vex Ephraim,
nor Joseph envy Judah.
Both spoke to standing ovations -- like the voice of many waters.
Oh how we wish you could have been there. We are hoping to obtain transcripts of these
talks, and many others that have been "removing the veil" and telling it like it
is. If these Brethren continue to speak so forthrightly -- Judah and Joseph may organiye
quite a family reunion for the new Millennium, when the sheep and goats of godless
pantheism are divided.
What a marvelous work and a wonder to behold. Similar talks were given by Sister Smoot,
Relief Society President (the world's largest organization of women) and Sister Nadauld,
now the General YW's President and former president of Freedom's Foundation at Valley
Forge. The divisive truths so many of us long to hear at GenConf are now being spoken in
Geneva -- in the face of our enemies, right in their Swiss headquarters -- and stone's
throw from the Wilson Palace.
Thousands of representatives from hundreds of Family Foundations have gathered to this
World Congress of Families II -- to prepare a Declaration to the UN-Believers: We know
what you are up to, and we are here to give the world another choice -- another God to
worship -- another kingdom to be established upon the earth -- to defend the eternal
posterity of God's family.
The most rousing ovation so far was given to two men -- Alan Carlson of the Howard
Foundation, and Richard Wilkins ("scrooge", BYU law professor) whose fearless
faith organized this World Congress and gathered all the churches -- who call themselves
in the name of the Lord -- to one House of Prayer and Fasting in Geneva -- to fulfill the
prophecies of D&C 101:75- 95.
It is happening just down the street from where I am typing this. I need to get back
for the afternoon sessions. Anwar Sadat's widow will be speaking at the PM Plenary
Session, followed by speakers from the Howard Foundation -- another Foundation of AOA
(D&C 78:14-22).
Those of us who have seen and know what the Brethren are doing (D&C 101:11- 33)
again echo the words of ETB as an invitation: Come back, come back to Zion. Do not desert
the cause of Zion now that the battle is imminent. Come back, before the door to the
wedding feast is closed by the very one you claim to be waiting for -- and his father
orders his servants to bind you, hand and feet, and cast you from the feast, because you
no longer wear the wedding garments with his authority.
In that day of judgment, saith the Lord, it will be better for the heathen nations who
have not yet received the law, then for those who have received it -- and betrayed their
covenants.
Come back, Sterling. End the strife and envy. Judah and Joseph are here in Geneva,
offering again an offering in righteousness -- on Mount Ephraim.
