Heavenly Ways of Earth's Graduates, "by several of them," M.A.P. Inc., 272 E. 300 N., Midway, UT 84049. (152 pp.)

Those now ordering our sons and grandsons off to war have forgotten that we went out, giving our lives to end all wars and to make our children's world safe for Democracy. Yes, earth's leaders have forgotten, but we have not. Neither have we given up our fight. (p. 9.)

We are still in the fight for earth's victory over the foe of true Democracy. (p. 9.)

[@ Battle field] Though objects passed through us, we had power to deflect the shells from our buddies. (p. 14)

It is not our purpose...in this book to attempt a description of our environment here. Rather, would we give the inside information to which ever citizen of the Kingdom of God on earth is entitled -- how the work of bringing peace to earth is accomplished. Each of us who writes in this book has chosen a different line of service, but we are all in the work of bringing about the answer to the thousands of earth's prayer for permanent world peace. We ask you to realize that each of us is only a small part of a whole Plan of God. We need your cooperation. (p. 16)

[RE the son that looked like the "graduated" father] Whenever they looked at [him] with longing thoughts of me, [it] dream me to them at that moment. ...it was not allowed, at that time, that a general revelation should be made of how very close the spirit world is to the physical. `The end of the Age' is now at hand, so this writing is coming into quite general use, "that ye may know." (p. 17)

"Son, this is the River of Life that flows from the throne of God. Its waters are Life. Beside it grows the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. Your own desire for healing the spirits of your enemy dead has fitted you to be a candidate for entrance to the lanes of life beyond...." (p. 20)

[I wore a shinning garment] "You are no longer in the service of any country.... You are now a citizen of Eternity, wearing the uniform of your New Country, here by your own choice. You may now choose the line of service your desires lead you to take." (p. 21)

"This is the Tree of Life which John saw in a vision as he lay on the beach of the Isle of Patmos.... Its leaves are for the healing of the nations."

..."Sir, I would like to carry some of these healing leaves to the nations of earth if it is possible." (p. 22)

Life on this side of the Shining River is vastly different. In the first field of service, we worked as a group. Now, I advance individually. I am alone in that it is entirely up to me to choose, and crate my own way of progress to higher plans and my service to my fellow men. I am never really alone, for my thoughts and desire always bring me into company of others who share thought-pattern a vibrate to the same desire-power. (p. 22)

"Your garments are woven of the vibrations of your thoughts and desires, an are the badge of your chosen line of work. This is your aura, the colors of which are changed by the changing mental and spiritual attitudes of each individual. The sorrowing thoughts of dear ones left on earth also show in the darker shades of grey and red." (p. 24)

That most of us were from the U.S. was not important. The thing that mattered was that our goal was the same. (p. 25)

Much of the early part of our heavenly training was to eliminate from our minds the misinformation and wrong conceptions with which we had so painstakenly crammed our mental machinery in our earthly college. (p. 25)

Our first lesson was in forgiveness of all that our earth life had left as dark colors in the aura-garments we wore. (p. 25)

Our charge needed to continue his growth through his own effort, if it were to be for his true advancement. Thus I became aware of one of heaven's basic laws namely, "Never do anything for one you are trying to help that which he can do for himself." (p. 28)

Our class was centered around Love-of-God and ways to use it for individual advancement or universal good. (p. 29)

It would have been much easier to have taken the spiritual training and growth while still on the earth plane, where God intended the spiritual development to keep pace with the physical and mental growth of each earth-dwelling child of His. (p. 31)

Because physical eyes cannot see us, whose spirit and mental bodies vibrate on higher frequencies, our loved ones, still on the earth plane of physical being, fail to credit us with the things we are doing in their midst. (p. 34)

I had become accustomed to being ignored by those I had come to visit, realizing they could not see me with physical vibration frequencies. Having been well-instructed in reading auras, I could see what was going on in his mind. (p. 40)

We who serve the living God in heavenly ways are never allowed to compel the thinking of any earth person. We can, however, so surround them with the Love of God that they are conscious of His presence with them. We can also use heavenly ways of fighting off the forces of darkness to prevent their entering the mind of the person who we are protecting. (p. 40) ...It was God's will, however, and part of our happy service to send right thoughts into his immediate environment where they would be handy whoever he chose to open his mind and let them in. (p. 41)

This work of healing the nations of earth now seemed so tremendously important, and such a man-sized job faced me in preparing for my part in it.... (p. 42)

The spiritual development work had been carried out on the earth plane until the time when we attained equal levels of mental and spiritual progress. This was because our earth life should have been governed at all times by that balance, which is God's ideal educational standard for earth. (p. 45)

The failure of our experiences to engender spiritual development on the earth-plane is entirely a mater of human choice, not God's will or of "chance." In early childhood, the choice is that of a parent or guardian; these are always accountable to God for the way a small child under their care is given a send off, as it were, on this course in learning to gain right spiritual growth form each even in life. Often, some otherwise unimportant incident in a day's living may have great spiritual significance. The parent, not the child, is responsible for the way this enters the record of its life. The entire life may be influenced by something an adult lets pas without taking thought of the consequences. Too much of earth life has to be lived over and over again because of lack of spiritual insight of parents in dealing with these seemingly insignificant daily incidents. (p. 45,46)

[Compare Goethe: He saw events in daily life as part of a much larger and more important picture. "Every situation -- nay, every moment is of infinite worth..., for it is the representative of a whole eternity." (p. 177, W.W.'s Other Eminent Men.)]

I would give this urgent instruction from the higher planes of heavenly life: "Always be prepared to meet these sudden, unexpected events that are so unsuspectedly significant; keep very close to your loving heavenly Father in your own spiritual living; free yourselves from the tyranny of your possessions possessing you, which is the root-cause of most of the childhood scars on developing spirits." (p. 46)

A large part of adult development is to be gained by reaching down, in understanding love, to help infant spirits expand, which at the same time reaching up to God for His help in their own growth toward His Perfect Pattern for their souls. (p. 47.)

Our assignments were never boring, for we soon learned that each one brought new and thrilling rewards in understanding and enlarged heavenly outlook.

 

BOOK TWO

One of these Ways is for those who have advanced higher to reach down to help others, at the same time reaching up for help in their own advancing. We found ourselves acting as guides for new students, taking them back to the earth plane for spiritual development, still learning more from our experiences in this capacity. We learned from higher Guides, who accompanied us but who remained invisible to those whom we guided.... (p. 56.)

 

Into the senate chambers of our nation

We could see the the envelope of flesh giving expression to the dictates of dark entities sent there to keep the war machine rolling while we saw their spirits' (underdeveloped being) make no effort to rise and fight off these dark forces. (p. 56)

Those of us who are writing this book became an integrated unit, individual spirits always, but working as one man on our earth mission. (p. 56)

It was given us to know that the prayers that rise to the Throne of God are sent to their own department of the Eternal Elements for fulfillment. We were also shown that many prayers never rise as high as the Throne of God, where dwells the Eternal God-Head, which is the highest Plane of Life. Prayers rising to their own level are given into the hands of Spirit Servers of that level to be handled according to the eternal Laws of God. Often a true payer of the heart is not recognized by the pray-er, but the law is sure, and those spirits in charge of answering prayers my obey it. The deepest desire of the innermost I AM is answered, not the request of the mind and lips. Power in prayer comes with integrating the deep desire of the Christ within, the subconscious desire of the spirit, and the desires of the mind and heart. When these four desires are integrated into one two desire for a thing or condition that is for the good of all concerned, and that desire is released into the heart of God, such a prayer goes to the Throne of God, where the very Saints are given charge of its fulfillment, and no lesser power on any level of life can hinder it. (p. 57,58)

We saw the selfish desires of hearts calling for peace that their own loved ones might return at once...for their own and for no other. These reached a low level and were taken care of by Guardian Angels near the earth plane. Prayer for peace, springing from desire for protection of another's love one reached a slightly higher level. On an ascending scale, the individual prayers rose from earth to the planes of Spirit Life. Vibrations of love for God in the human heart, vibrations of gratitude to God for His living care, and vibrations of praise to God for what He is form a trilogy of colors that ray out into the ethers and carry straight to the heart of God soul's sincere desires for unselfish ends. (p. 58)

LARGE STADIUM-LIKE SETTING (p. 59-65)

Since we had learned that great new truth was to be revealed whenever a large group of spirits were seated in a Forum or Theater, we waited in eager anticipation. (p. 60)

As for our amalgamation, it seemed to us the growth we needed in this place was the worthiness to use our new knowledge of Christ-rays. (p. 61)

This gold and ruby combination belonged to the aura of those whose earthly lives had found and accepted Jesus Christ as the redemption from separation from God. We had felt the handicap of not being able to show this light combination in our auras, and had been aware that it was present among the lights of all those who had been drawn into the upper avenue. [Two divisions prior to stadium meeting.] (p. 60,61)

My heart and life became so charged with power that I felt I must at once be on my way back to earth to make use o it in my present mission. It is a law of heaven, as well as of earth, that in order to continue receiving one must give out that which one has already received. (p. 63)

[Angels ascending, Calvary, softened music to silent contemplation]

My kneeling adoration of the wondrously glowing cross seemed sacrilege compared with what I felt must now be my attitude. I prostrated myself before the Unseen Presence I felt in this new aspect, becoming completely lost in the golden cloud at the foot of the cross as I did so. I had no sense of my individual being, but the thrill of it all remained with me, or I might say it became myself, and I was entirely caught up into the glorious vibration of heaven, until I became one with it. When I once more became aware of myself, as an individual entity, I realized that I had been with Christ. I was not yet sufficiently advance in heavenly living to be able to look upon the light of His countenance, but i had been initiated into the Christ-vibration. I had been given His absolution.... Now I know, within my innermost being, what the Christ-ray was and how it should heal all of earth's accumulated woes in the twinkling of an eye. (p. 64,65)

 

Back to Senate Chamber

Our Guide informed us that the healing of our own nation must begin with the healing of these enslaved spirit bodies, and that we had been given the mission of awakening and energizing them as part of the fulfillment of desire prayers for World Peace. (p. 68)

It is a law of God that "two or three gathered together" shall have powers increased by infinity, if they are agreed. (p. 68)

Man's God-given ability to chose his own way is the only power that can keep the healing leaves of the Tree of Life from accomplishing their God-ordained work in His perfect Plan. Man may choose or reject the perfect Way of God, thereby setting God's clock back centuries at a time. Our task must ever be to help the individual human being choose aright. (p. 68)

 

70-Year-old Senator

By the very dim light it case out as aura, we discerned a partially grown spirit body, sleeping and inert, quite unconscious of what was going on in the alert mind and the body which was aging rapidly under the mistreatment to which its master, the mind, was subjecting it. (p. 69)

Our Guide demonstrated the way to use Love-of-God substance to bridge over the resistance from the mind, an environment which had so long kept a moat around the sleeping spirit, preventing its being opened to receive the benefit of waiting prayers. Over this bridge we sent our combined efforts. We rayed the Christ-life from above into the Christ-center of the sleeping spirit. We are not allowed to enter a human mind; as Servers of the living God, who gave man his power of free will, we are not allowed to do so. The dark forces are not under this restriction, thus filling earth's mental institutions with those "possessed of a devil." (p. 70)

In a flash he recognized himself, as he was, truly a son of God and having a record of worthy deeds to emulate. (p. 71)

Each human life draws as individual a set of circumstances as if they were the only person alive, and each requires individual handling on the heavenly planes. (p. 76)

Heaven has the perfect answer to every prayer that is placed in the heart of God with love, faith and thanksgiving. This perfect prayer the Senator's mother had offered for his salvation and the accomplishment of his chosen earth mission. (p. 76,77)

Class work for spirits who come over during the physical sleep state is on a different level from instruction for those who have graduated into heavenly life. These classes are given by God in His loving Plan for His children.

 

BOOK III

[RE end of WWI, short period when some leaders were receptive] Our assignments had to be changed from a national scale, using our whole group working together with world leaders, in individual work with those to whom we had been guided by their light of prayer potentiality. (p. 83)

Those months following the signing of the Armistice were a heyday for the forces of darkness. "Love of self" swelling in human hearts, replacing the stress of war. (p. .84)

Our task: A CONCENTRATED EFFORT TO AWAKEN THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF CHRISTIANS TO THE WAY OF PRAYER, AND TO INSTRUCT IN THE USE OF LOVE-OF-GOD SUBSTANCE. (p. .85)

 

Case History: Family

My mission was to awaken in them the knowledge of the power of payer which God had sent them into this incarnation to use. (p. .86)

Keeping old hatreds alive in human hearts is one of the dark forces' elements for successfully eliminating prayer from the world. (p. .92)

Christ-rays are a very important element of heavenly living. When our need is above the ordinary level of the lower-plane vibrations of heavenly rays, we ar initiated into the higher order of Light which uses Christ-rays. ...Now our great, shining Teacher of Light enlightened us as to the way in which these rays are empowered to take the elements of earthly discouragement and hopelessness and turn them into gloriously transmuted elements of lovely, life-glad living on the earth plane. The enemy forces of darkness cannot bring into existence any element that can stand against the light from these powerful Christ-Rays. We are given the privilege of using them to initiate great reforms in human=Divine relationships. (p. 98)

our amalgamated group surrounded the hospital where our patient lay, making a perfect wall of protection about the place, through which no darkness of despairing thoughts from outside loved ones could enter. This was made possible by our understanding of Christ-Ray employment in the darkness of earth's hopelessness. It emanates from the blood which Christ Jesus' physical body shed on the cross for the remission of sins such as these. It was not their own sin, for those patients had no part in bringing it upon themselves. It was, therefore, possible for us to use this Christ-Ray means of alleviation for them, without each consciously requesting it of God for his own individual need. No patient in this place had the mental or physical ability to think things through to a logical conclusion because of the shock of war to the entire beings of young, impressionable men from homes where love had ruled. (p. .99)

Christ sent...life-blood shed... to cleanse all God's children from all negative overbalance, it was given atomic power to multiply itself into Christ-ray vibrations on the earth-plane. (p. 100)

We needed a strong ray of triumphant human love and sacrificial prayer to leaven this dark lump of spiritual inertia. God always had the answer waiting within every need if we open our spiritual eyes to see. Our combined rays of personal earth experiences, now transmuted into higher spiritual power by our contact with the Great Teacher of our last Forum, gave us the ability to search out transmuted pain on the earth-level vibration, which was the only element we could use in this present situation. We looked into a cave in the hill country of dark Africa.... Here, on a bed of dry grass lay the mother ... her body was being eaten away with leprosy... these two, daily, hourly, lived a life of prayer, sending out on the wings of faith such strong rays of light and vibrations of transmuted pain that we were at once able to see them and draw these vibrations into the very center of our encirclement. here, multiplied by the Christ-rays which we were able to direct from heaven, to catch themselves.... we were empowered to amalgamate an emanation of heavenly love that routed all darkness from the entire aura of the hospital for a brief moment of time. (p. 101.)

Spiritual influences can never be centered in one aura without the effect being felt in a wide area about it. This also applies, in reverse, to dark spiritual forces. (p. 102)

...Our young soldier-son [spirit] of the family was quickly summoned to our aid. In quick manifestation of his physical presence, he entered the door...

A few minutes of gay, encouraging conversation between the two soldiers, then our aide [spirit] left by the doorway, sending the ectoplasm he borrowed from the nurse for his manifestation in to the body of the wounded soldier on the bed. The woman would never miss it, for her spirit had been so stimulated that her entire being immediately built up a magnetic vibration which healed her own inner life. The spiritual gift of healing was hers from that moment. The bit of her physical substance transmuted and transferred to our patient called of its own to itself each time she approached his bed, so that it ever grew and expanded into renewal of physical body cells. The spiritual and mental stimulation of the visit so encouraged our patient.... (p. 102,103)

Later, the doctors gathered in conference and we called in heavenly Doctors, whose earth practice and experience had been greatly enlarged by higher-plane study into the causes of physical disabilities as they were seen from spiritual levels of understanding. (p. 104)

Sleeping in his bed, half a continent away, this lad's fresh young spirit was gently drawn from the body and brought to stand in the presence of the conferring doctors. His manifestation was not a physical thing to be seen of men, but his earth-bound consciousness was able to reach into the mind of a young doctor who vibrated to the same frequency on which the boy had come in. Then the spirit body of the older brother, which functioned on the same band of heaven-earth power on a higher frequency, was able to close the circuit with one of the Spirit Doctors so that ideas might circulate freely within its cycle for a brief time. This came into the earth-doctor's mind as a flash of inspiration, which gradually enlarged in his thinking until he understood the ideas. (p. 106.)

God always uses means at hand for healing earth's ills. (p. 107.)

God gives insight to inquiring minds. It is only those who feel they have already reached the pinnacle of learning who retrogress. ... how carefully we guarded this pliable openness of spirit and mind from dark forces who were desperately trying to find entrance with false ideas and skepticism. Our need for extra Spirit Guards was immediately answered by a host of heavenly warriors who fought off the enemy forces with fiery darts of heavenly love. (p. 109.)

In the first year after the signing of the Armistice, many new truths were presented to the minds of thinking people. ... Nations and individuals were eagerly open to new ideas. ... Into this pliability, great hordes of Dark Forces swarmed with every conceivable type of deception and false ideas of progress.... (p. 111.)

We needed the great, golden substance of prayer, rising to the throne of God...In vain we searched... (p. 112)

God is always ready, eagerly, patiently waiting to give his perfect gift of peace to his earthly children, but they must ask for it with great yearning desire. This desire must be of the quality that will reach to the heart of God and match the yearning of Father-love of God in creative cooperation, which will bring forth its birth of peace on earth. (p. 112,113)

It is man's God-given right to choose between right and wrong ways of life which is at once the greatest blessing and the most painful curse of humanity. In choosing those things which are out of harmony with the God-vibration of His universe, man breaks the rhythm of God in his life, and all pain of physical body as well as of mind and spirit, is the result. (p. 113)

[Young doctor pulls dusty Bible off shelf] Our soldier [spirit] was instantly at his side, controlling his hand to turn the right page, and thus directing him to the story of Christ's healing of the paralytic.... With seemingly aimless fingering of the pages, the doctor twiddled as his mind eagerly drank in Truth from our channelling. Our soldier thus lay the book open to the story of Peter and John healing the blind man at the temple gate. (p. 117)

God gives us powers of locomotion that are beyond human understanding. We could hold our amalgamated encirclement of love and Christ-rays around the hospital, be with each individual inside it, and deep in touch with our family in the garden. We will not try to explain how this works.... (p. 117, 118)

No words of Earth language could possibly describe what we enjoy in our heavenly Way of Life. We ask you to accept in your innermost being the knowledge that what we say is true. (p. 118)

The League of Nations failed to accomplish its aims for one reason: that individuals sought sexual excitement on the physical planes, instead of giving themselves in prayer and spiritual cooperation to God for His purpose of bringing forth on the face of the earth a new Kingdom of heaven, a new Eden, in which His creatures might dwell in safety, in love and harmony with each other. (p. 120.)

Our four [family mortals] were not yet sufficiently developed spiritually to throw off immediately the influence of the cynical bitterness injected into the aura of the home. They did it conscientiously, but it used up prayer power that could have gone into the greater prayer pool needed to hold the world steadily on a course toward universal peace. (p. 121.)

It was not yet the time in God's ordinance, for allowing general knowledge of manifested physical appearance of spiritual beings. (p. 121?)

All the bitterness about the war, and the feeling of resentment against the son for having joined the army instead of taking the course of conscientious objection gave out vibrations of black and red colors in their auras which flashed in the "come in" signal to the Dark Forces as they entered the hospital. Our vibrations are not on the earth-frequency of bitterness and resentment, so we do not see things like this coming to those we are guarding until they show up in the aura of our charge. (p. 126.)

[Skeptical parents with healed son] The close proximity of this mental attitude to our patient was a constant drain on his still-immature spirit; it began to show in great physical fatigue as the journey continued. (p. 130)

Our great need in the world crisis following the signing of the Armistice was for prayer from hearts filled with unselfish desire for universal peace and genuine Christian brotherhood. This great lack was the void into which Dark Forces were rapidly pouring their diabolical designs of self-seeking, lust and greed. (p. 131.)

It was a critical time for him. The soldier, who was near, was giving his inner consciousness the succor of his presence, but eh physical fatigue of the long journey, the vibrations of may confused travelers, and the parent's mental and spiritual negativism combined to cause mental lassitude into which dark forces entered from lower levels into which our vibrations cannot reach. (p. 132.)

Christ descended into these lower regions after His crucifixion, but only those great Spirits especially prepared for this work can enter there. It is to this field of missionary endeavor that Christ delegated His earth followers when He said, "God ye into all the world and preach the Gospel." He gave definite directions and instructions to be used in the conquest of forces of darkness when he said, "Love your enemies... Unto them that smiteth thee on the one cheek, offer also the other...Pray for them that despitefully use you." it is the Love-of-God sent out to other human beings on the level of earth ethers that effectively turn back Dark Forces as the come up from nether regions into the human minds through the only entrance we cannot guard -- the power of individual choice of thought. "Choose ye this day whom ye will serve." We are not allowed to make that choice for you. (p. 132.)

[He had been healed physically] Now this renewed physical man needed the mental, emotional and spiritual maturity to balance the requirements for perfectly maintaining the physical healing. it was this that we were unable to give him, because it is the ordinance of God that each individual shall acquire this for himself. We were trying to guard his immaturity of experience from overbalancing negativism that might lead to insanity if he began to doubt the reality of the soldier's manifestations or discredit the spiritual source of his healing. (p. 133)

God has His own long-range plan for the redemption of each individual. We had fully realized, as we worked with this family, that there could be no ultimate defeat of His purposes for any of these lives. Our desire had been to work out the perfect pattern for them so that their earth experiences might be completed and their progress in heavenly planes begun on a higher level. (p. 136.)

It was not necessary, in every case, to work out a miracle of healing or to manifest some discarnate soldier, although we did use manifestations more often than has ever been realized. We still do. They are normal, down-to-earth people. (p. 137.)

God's long-range plan for the earth has certain well-laid principles, among which is the one governing certain areas of the earth's surface and its underlying vibrations, into which the Dark forces are to be drawn for their imprisonment when the payer-power of the earth's population reaches the necessary maximum.

The area of North America and most of the continent of South America is hallowed ground in which God's chosen ones are to dwell when the Golden of the new Dispensation shall be brought into manifestation. This area has been blessed by devotion and service to the living God through long centuries of life in loving times of peace not recorded in the known history of mankind. Many will not, at first, accept this fact -- but it is true, nevertheless. (p. 139)

????It is not our purpose to review this period of history. The future is at a great crisis-time now, and we are allowed to tell you that many great spirits who lived in those ages are again living on these two continents, because they have chosen to leave their well-earned heights of heavenly glory to assist us in the great struggle now engaging the entire population of the earth.

It is a death struggle, and the forces of darkness know it. To be chained within the confines of their limitations of darkness is intolerable to them, for they are individuals in the ranks of the fallen angels who still hold enlivening memory of their state of bliss which they enjoyed in heaven before they were given the power to reject it by their own choice. While the light of God's love is intolerable to their conscious minds, so that they turn and flee from it, the darkness of their own shadow as they run into it ever caused fear in their subconsciousness. This condition brings about insanity which they inflict on any individual, group, or nation they can find unguarded by God's love.

WHENEVER A NAME COMES PERSISTENTLY TO MIND ALWAYS PRAY FOR THAT PERSON; YOU MAY BE SURE IT IS BEING REQUESTED BY SPIRIT SERVERS WHO NEED IT IN THEIR WORK.

God need constructive, creative prayer that springs from deep, inner desire for the salvation of every son of God on earth. he needs a love for all His children in the heart of each of them -- a brotherhood of sons of God of the earth, not a men's brotherhood of such and such church, or ...workers.,, or lodge or fraternity... Those are only one step higher than ingrown personal love of self, for they discriminate against others of differing ideals, which is the small brother of "nation-against-nation" war. (p. 140)

Whenever a human being is entirely dedicated to God, we can speak directly through that person at any time we find it expedient. This does not apply to ministers of public speakers exclusively, often not to them at all, but to anyone in any walk of life open and receptive to God.

If those who serve under the banner of the Living God could realize that all the hosts of highest heaven are alive and at their service.
