Instructions:
Combine TVP and 1 cup water in microwave-save bowl. Heat on high for
three minutes or until water boils. Drain off excess water; set aside.
Sauté onion, mushrooms, and garlic in olive oil. Add TVP, 1 cup water,
gravy mix, and sour cream. Cook on medium-high until thick.
Roll out biscuits as big as possible. Add one slice of cheese and 1/4
cup mixture to middle of each biscuit. Pinch sides together to seal mixture inside.
Roll in bread crumbs. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Yield
8 servings.

This recipe came to Cheri when she awoke from a nap today. It seems that this recipe is good
enough to stand out as a one-word named dish, like "pizza." Flavors of TVP, and
cheese, and other ingredients and combinations might change, but the overall concept is good stuff
in a 'blanket.' I went to the Internet and looked up the word 'blanket' in other
languages. Coperta is Italian for Blanket.
