Basic Premise: Having been commissioned of the Lord to be his husbandmen in the latter days to prepare for His second advent, which entails building upon the foundation of the first coming (an individual being changed through Christ, through the power of the Holy Ghost, bringing forth the righteousness of God) and establishing a righteous government of God on the earth so that the kingdom of heaven may come down to dwell on the earth; and having received so much light and knowledge and therefore being set to be a light to the world and the savor of men, both as it pertains to the first coming, in which our Lord wrought a means for individual salvation, as well as it pertains to the second advent, in which will be wrought a corporeal salvation; the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Mormons, in particular, and the Christians in general (not having received as much light and accountability as the Mormons) have grossly neglected their commission and hence have become as salt that has lost its savor, which is thenceforth good for nothing but to be cast out and trodden under feet of men. However, out of this polluted body of professors of Christ will come an awakened hearts core, a remnant, who choose to follow God above, and no longer place their trust in man, in the arm of flesh. These will hearken to the parables of God, the greater things which have been hidden in that which we have already been given through various foreordained means, and they will rejoice in any additional records that the Lord may yet see fit to impart, these scriptures entailing "truth from the earth" (with especial emphasis on the Book of Mormon); which, when coupled with the revelations of God, the "righteousness sent down from heaven" through the power of the Holy Ghost, will be more than adequate for their instruction at this critical juncture - - a time that has been called a test, a Test, A TEST (Heber C. Kimbal). They will humbly and courageously recognize the parabolic parallels between the scriptural accounts of corruption, such as of the Nephites, but especially of the Jewish church at the time of Christ, and the corruption of our own institutions today, especially of Mormonism. These will put on strength, come out from among the wicked, and be numbered among those who are redeemed when the chastening destructions come as a whirlwind beginning upon the house of God, cleansing this land of promise, many of those purgings coming even under the seeming auspices of the minions of Satan who will be given power to possess the earth for a very short time. The wicked husbandmen who refuse to repent will be detected and cut off, both by the Lord and by the means prescribed for the saints of God, in which process and transition the corporate body will tumble to the dust along with Babylon. A light breaks forth among them, but they receive it not. The awakened ones, who put on the strength of the Lord will form the hub of saints who will entail that new body called the church of the firstborn, which is administered directly from heaven, through the veil. This new body will supersede the old, as new wine cannot be placed in old bottles. After the purging of the saints is complete, these who as a body will be now numbered as God's chosen Israel, will assist in the building of the New Jerusalem, at which celestial city the millennial reign will have begun. The kingdom and government of God will have been established on earth, no more to be thrown down. The manchild will have come forth. From there, this new covenant, which will have superseded the old that had become corrupted, will be promulgated with power to the ends of the earth. Then will those who are of the promised seed of Israel be gathered in with an outstretched arm, the Lord being in their midst, bringing them literally to the gathering place of Zion, the New Jerusalem, which will provide a place of sanctuary in a world ripening ever more for their final destruction, which will culminate with the redemption of the Jews in Jerusalem, followed by the new heaven and the new earth, as the earth is renewed and received of its paradisiacal glory - - the arrival of the new day, during which Satan will be bound, the heathen will be saved, and the blessings of heaven abound beyond our loftiest imaginings at present.
