Mother Wove the Morning: a one woman play
written and performed by Carol Lynn Pearson

Mormonism's very own celebrity poet and playwright produced a play that has received lavish praise from such noted Goddess scholars as Riane Eisler and Jean Shinoda Bolen.

Eliza Snow (acknowledged in the early 19th century church as the “High Priestess" of Mormonism) is portrayed as one of the “sixteen women [who] throughout history search for God the Mother and invite her back into the human family." [Video's Description]

We' Moon: Gaia Rhythms For Womyn

The theme of We' Moon '02: Priestessing the Planet. We Moon is a natural rhythms calender by and for women; which includes art and writing from the grassroots international women's culture. When women harmonize themselves with the lunar cycles their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual lives become more empowered, and quality of life noticeably improves. I can only speak from personal experience. This interactive book will change your life forever. Feel connected to sisters around the world and to the Goddess with We' Moon.

Here is the URL for Lance Owens website with articles on Joseph the Hermetic Prophet, Joseph and Kabbalah and Joseph the Gnostic. Lance Owens is a physician from Salt Lake and ethnic Mormon who became a Gnostic priest and the premier researcher into these aspects of Joseph. Elements of the Goddess in Mormonism are discussed, as is the prominence of Venus in the Salt Lake Temple. Please don't forget to read the footnotes as they are some of the juiciest material.
Sons Aumen Isreal
(They would probably get mad at me for saying this, but technically they originated as an esoteric Mormon offshoot or outgrowth. They are now Nazorean Essenes with some great web pages on Mary Magdalene.)

bullet The Grand Finale

(for now)

Most Mormons are unaware that they have their very own Rocky Horror Picture Show and Monty Python's Holy Grail rolled into one. It's called Plan 10 From Outer Space by the legendary, indy-film maker and Salt Lake City resident Trent Harris. Harris is the mastermind behind one of my favorite movies of all time Rubin & Ed. While Rubin & Ed is well known among secular, indy-film lovers and festival goers, very few in the mainstream audience will ever grasp the deeper, more esoteric, inner meaning of the film (ha ha!)… unless they read this review and have it pointed out to them that Rubin & Ed is actually a brilliant satire of the state of Utah and the corporation that runs it! But back to Plan 10! Mormonism's own rock opera! They probably still play it at Midnight at the Tower theater at Ninth and Ninth in Salt Lake, about two blocks from where I used to live.

This movie is NOT for the faint of heart and not for anyone without a healthy dose of humor about themselves and their Mormonness. I do believe, however, that this movie was inspired by the Goddess. Please don't go assassinating her servant Trent Harris like you guys did Joseph Smith, he was just doing what She told him to do, darn it! But I do happen to think that the Goddess did inspire Mr. Harris to write a movie about a girl who loves a good mystery and is writing a book about all of the mysteries that she encountered in that strange country called Utah…Hey! That's MY life! Trent Harris and I must be telepathically linked!

Most valuable aspect of this movie? The Goddess makes Her appearance in this film in Glory! -- as a Whirlwind in downtown Salt Lake City! A possible vision of the future? To be sure! - according to the Words of the Goddess in the Bible. Don't say that you weren't warned! The truth IS stranger than fiction.

Go to: Plan 10 From Outer Space (not to be confused with Ed Wood's Plan 9 from Outer Space)

Schopenhauer
All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

-- Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860)
