It is likely that the flight that the flight that crashed in Pennsylvania was headed for the Pentagon, and that the flight that hit the Pentagon, after changing course 210 degrees from the White House, was meant to hit the White House, but diverted to the Pentagon after the terrorists pilots learned of the Pennsylvania flight take-over, which implies some kind of ongoing communication between the various legs of the terrorist plot.
According to the Associated Press, "Jeremy [Burnett] and the people around them found out about the flights into the World Trade Center and decided that if their fate was to die, they should fight."
They did not yet know about the Pentagon for it had not yet happened.
The Pennsylvania plane crashed at: 10:10 a.m.
The Pentagon was hit at: 9:43 a.m.
The White House was evacuated at: 9:45 a.m.
Those in the White House would not have been able to escape in time. Much of the country's congressional delegation would not be here today.
Thank God for the bravery of the passengers aboard United Airlines Flight 93 who knew they were going to die, and chose to overpower their assailants. Certainly a plot of harrowing heroism that surpasses almost any movie ever produced.
p.s. This scenario implies some kind of ongoing communication between the
various legs of the terrorist plot.
