Zenos' Allegory (Jacob 5) in the New Testament Lexicon

Greater Things Newsletter #16
3/29/99

Jacob 5, Zenos' Allegory (cited in Romans 11), is confirmed and expounded in eleven consecutive pages of definitions in Zodhiates' New Testament dictionary.

Words like: branch, root, grow, natural, fruit, exile, return, Gentiles, tribes, Israel, pride, puffed up, watch, hedge, and vineyard are found on these pages.  What is more astonishing is the commentary the word arrangement provides.

Schopenhauer
All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
   Second, it is violently opposed; and
   Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
