Most DifficultFirst, Last, Middle and Messiah's Mission and Identity

I've finally completed a study on first, last, middle words and numbers that has been two years in the making.  Over that time, I have been finding things relevant to this, noting them, mulling them over, filing them away.

Now they are written up in a piece titled "First, Last, Middle and Messiah's Mission and Identity."

Here's the Introduction:

------- Introduction (quote) --------

The scriptures sometimes refer to deity in terms of "Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."  They also speak of Messiah coming in the "meridian of time."

Fittingly, many first, middle and last words and numbers associated with scripture tie into and elaborate upon the concept of deity and the work of Messiah both at the first advent with Jesus Christ among the Jews as well as with the latter-day second advent in the person of the Davidic Servant, who is the Father come in the flesh among the Gentiles.   These word-number correlations elaborate on the nature of that ministry (which is accomplished by many individuals who operate in the order of one mighty and strong) as well as pinpoint the specific identity of the person fulfilling that mission in its primary manifestation.

This study is not comprehensive, but presents sufficient material to establish the case beyond reasonable doubt.  This study is but one of many that have been done to set forth the same conclusions.  Many of these other write-ups are linked below [in the write-up] and are found at this same web site, www.GreaterThings.com.

------- End Introduction quote --------

The study sets forth and explains observations which I have mentioned to you before such as that the very first or alpha word of the Old Testament lexicon is "Father."  The very last word is "gift," having to do with the salvation Christ offers.  In the New Testament lexicon the very first and last words link to word 888 which is the sum of the letters that spell Jesus in Greek.

The last word in James Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible is YOU, which in context of the idea of Messiah, the following commentary is presented.

"The essence of the message is that just as each cell of the body has a complete set of DNA yet manifests but that portion requisite to its function in the united body, so also does each individual have within them the full set of godly DNA, each person manifesting but that portion requisite to his or her mission in the body of Christ, the remaining portions of that DNA being unexpressed or dormant.  And just as some of that DNA is designed to be passed on to new progeny by way of reproduction, so also are there some in the body of Christ who are sufficiently prepared to grow into the full measure of Godhood themselves.  We live in that day when an entire people are going to thus come forth: the man child kingdom of God and general assembly of the church of the firstborn, born of the woman, the church of God."

Some of the discoveries are mathematically curious, such as that the word one fourth of the way through the New Testament lexicon numbering-wise includes the phrase "a quarter."  These help to solidify the fact that these correlations are not accidental or non-important.  Hence when we see things like that the word half way through the Old Testament lexicon could be pronounced "Messiah," we do not so readily dismiss it.

One of the most amusing but not less enlightening portions of the write-up is the report of what I found when I looked up the half-way point between Second Nephi and Moroni in the Book of Mormon, seeing as I often told friends that this was where I lived, while I was staying at my parent's home in Fountain Green.  Moroni is to the South and Nephi to the North and West at the mouth of Salt Creek Canyon.  You take the second Nephi exit coming either from the North or South on I-15.

Anyway, half way between the end of Second Nephi and the beginning of Moroni is Alma 43:15. This verse with the verses in immediate vicinity mention the following applicable words: double, Nephi, Moroni, driving, valley, and gathering.  This and other connections mentioned in the write-up lend further credence to the various dreams and visions that have been given showing that this valley will be a primary place of refuge for the remnant saints prior to our trek to the New Jerusalem.

For those of you who do not have ready Internet access, I've cut and pasted the write-up below.  Bear in mind that the on-line version with its typesetting and links is much easier to follow.  The Hebrew and Greek characters will look funny in this ASCII e-mail version.

I've actually had this write-up essentially done now for more than a week, making a few little additions here and there.  I've been dragging my feet because this document is something I would consider a pearl, and I don't particularly relish the thought of its being maligned or treated lightly.  But, alas, for the sake of those whose lives it might bless, I publish it now.  The timing of today's date turns out to tie into the theme of the piece as well.

This piece sets forth many of the evidences for the paradigm I have maintained regarding a Davidic Servant.  It also links to several documents that are not available from the public indices.  I'm putting my life on my sleeve in an act of vulnerability, hoping that this risking gesture of courtship with the bride of Zion will be reciprocated in due time.
