Greater Things Newsletter #8 Many dozens more Greater Things studies are now available on-line, thanks to PDF, which preserves the original typesetting. All Greater Things documents are in process of being converted to PDF and uploaded to the site. Portable Document Format (PDF) is the standard for electronic distribution of documents. It is the best way to keep the original look and feel intact. PDF files are compact, cross platform and can be viewed by anyone via a free Acrobat Reader (available from Adobe.com). The advantages of PDF can be seen on-line, but are most pronounced when printing the documents out (works on any printer, supposedly -- except perhaps the ancient dot matrix ones.) On my system, PDF-printed documents are more crisp than those printed straight from the original application (usually WordPerfect in my case). Most of the chiasms and parallels are now posted to the web site. You can see what directories are completed by going to the "What's New" page (click from the header of most any GreaterThings page). Go check them out. There are sure to be some treats to suit your particular fancy. Sterling D. Allan
