INTRODUCTION:
I made this discovery in the course of doing the write-up on "First,
Last,
Meridian Words & Numbers and Messiah." {Not officially announced
yet.}
I noticed that word 1130 in the New Testament lexicon and word and word 5783
in the Old Testament lexicon which mean "to be naked," are both
preceded by
a word that means "watching."
Word 5783 marks the two-thirds-of-the-way-through point in the Old Testament
lexicon. The total number of words, 8674, multiplied by 2/3 is 5782.66
My personal curiosity was aroused in this match inasmuch as November 30
[1130] is my birthday, and yes, I was born naked.
My years of study with uncovering chiasms and parallels trained me such that
when there is a sequence of two matching points, there just very well may be
other matches before and/or after them.
In this case, it turns out that there are at least forty consecutive matches
between the definitions given in Zodhiates' Complete Word Study Dictionary:
New Testament and Gesenius' Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament.
The sequence does not follow the numbering of James Strong in the Old
Testament, but rather follows the often revised alphabetical word sequence
rendered by H.W.F Gesenius. Hence you will see a sometimes non-sequential
flow of word numbering in the left-hand column below.
I say "at least forty consecutive matches" because I can see that
the
parallel continues in both directions beyond the forty matches I have set
forth below. For example, word 1107 in Zodhiates "To make known" and
word
5930 (listed just prior to 5768) in Gesenius, "(1) iniquity, (2) burnt
offering," captures the theme that seems to be carried in the match up --
making known the iniquity of man in rejecting his God.
The words before that have a similar pairing, but are more superficially
obvious. Word 1106 in Zodhiates,
"Capacity of judgement, faculty of discernment as far as conduct is
concerned; (I) as implying will, in the sense of accord, consent; (II)
opinion, judgement, in reference to oneself,"
pairs with word 5766 in Gesenius: "the wicked," which calls to our
minds the
importance of coming to an awareness of our fallen natures, which need to be
brought into harmony with the Spirit so that our hearts can be transformed
into their full godly potential.
Indeed, the main topic of the messages that emerge in the progressive
pairing seems to center on the paradoxical love-hate relationship between
God and man, in which God performs acts of mercy for the benefit of his
children, who for the most part resent him in return, but in the end are
redeemed.
The matches following the forty I have indicated below pair "debtedness"
with "strength," for it is in our coming to an awareness of our
natural
bankruptcy that we are able to come forth with a broken heart and contrite
spirit, receive a mighty change of heart, and be made strong in the Lord.
It turns out that this line-up (including the matches just mentioned) begins
on page 377 of Zodhiates. That happens to be the last of eight pages that
are parallel between Zodhiates, Gesenius, and Webster's '71. That
discovery is centered around the word "gold" as a metaphor for women
in
general and Heavenly Mother in specific. "God," and "gold"
come in close
vicinity in the English alphabet. It turns out that key words on the page
where those words are found are parallel with key words on the pages with
that same number in Zodhiates NT lexicon and in Gesenius OT lexicon. "To
be" in Zodhiates, and "Being" in Gesenius. The parallel extends
from page
370 to page 377, where the current parallel begins.
The same phenomenon was discovered around the word 'Silver' and pages 781
through 785 of those same three Hebrew, Greek and English
dictionary/lexicons. The last page of the match, for example has the word
"sit" in Webster's '71, "set in a row, arrange" in
Gesenius, and "set or
place, establish" in Zodhiates; which calls to mind the crux prophecy in
Daniel 7:9-11.
"I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did
sit . . . . The judgment was set, and the books were opened. . . . I beheld
even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the
burning flame."
On the individual level, that beast is our own carnal nature that must be
purged from us through the baptism of fire, so that God can dwell in our
hearts. On the societal level, that beast is the pompous arrogance of the
New World Order that seeks to govern the world by the brain and brawn of the
arm of flesh. This tyranny is going to burn itself out, with only those
whose trust is in God remaining -- which people will be glad to have God
him(&her)self (along with the army of those who overcome all things) to
sit
as their truly benevolent king.
