To whom it may concern at Yahoo!Groups,
First, we would like to express our appreciate for the service you provide.
We realize that the service is supported by advertisers.
However, we are concerned about the images portrayed in several of your advertisements. In
particular, we have noticed that some of them are borderline pornographic, using scantily clad
females to promote certain products (usually web cams).
The other general class of advertisements that we wish to protest are those that promote gambling.
We realize that these advertisements are probably among your most lucrative, precisely because they
appeal to the more base instincts of human nature. We would like to formally protest this strategy.
We do not appreciate having PG-13 advertisements showing up on our lists.
If this puts you in a position of being too tight financially, we would not be opposed to a small
user fee for your service, to compensate for the loss in advertising revenues from these kinds of
ads.
We do not mind some of the ads you run. Its just those that appeal to the sinful nature of man that
we oppose.
Thanks again for your service.

Hello,
Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Customer Care.
We appreciate your comments and feedback regarding advertising on Yahoo! Groups. Our services are
made available in part by the ads that you view while using Yahoo!. While we attempt to choose
advertisements that will be pleasing, we understand that not all ads will appeal to all of our
users.
In most cases, the ads you view may not be removed or modified. However, we
do welcome user feedback regarding the advertisements appearing on Yahoo! Groups. Your comments help
us identify which types of advertisements are well received, and which are causing concern.
Please be assured that your feedback has been received.
Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Customer Care.
Regards,
