you because of your iniquities,

. . b v12 And also that ye might know of the coming of Jesus Christ,
the Son of God, the Father of heaven and of earth, the Creator of all things from the
beginning;
a-1 and that ye might know of the signs of his coming,
a-2 to the intent that ye might believe on his name.
a-3 v13 And if ye believe on his name ye will repent of all your sins, that thereby
ye may have a remission of them through his merits.
a v14And behold, again, another sign I give unto you,
a yea, a sign of his death.
a v15 For behold, he surely must die that salvation may come;
. . b-1 yea, it behooveth him and becometh expedient that he dieth, to bring to
pass the resurrection of the dead,
. . b-2 that thereby men may be brought into the presence of the Lord.
. . . . c-1 v16 Yea, behold, this death bringeth to pass the resurrection,
. . . . c-2 and redeemeth all mankind from the first death--
. . . . c-3 that spiritual death;
. . . . c-1 for all mankind, by the fall of Adam being cut off from the presence
of the Lord,
. . . . c-2 are considered as dead,
. . . . c-3 both as to things temporal and to things spiritual.
. . b-1 v17 But behold, the resurrection of Christ redeemeth mankind, yea, even all
mankind,
. . b-2 and bringeth them back into the presence of the Lord.
a v18 Yea, and it bringeth to pass the condition of repentance,
a that whosoever repenteth
. . b the same is not hewn down and cast into the fire;
a but whosoever repenteth not
. . b is hewn down and cast into the fire;
a and there cometh upon them again a spiritual death, yea, a second death,
. . b for they are cut off again
. . . . c as to things pertaining to righteousness.

. . . . c lest by knowing these things and not doing them
. . b ye shall suffer yourselves to come under condemnation,
a and ye are brought down unto this second death.
a-1 v20 But behold, as I said unto you concerning another sign,
a-2 a sign of his death,
. . b-1 behold, in that day
. . b-2 that he shall suffer death
. . . . 1c the 1sun shall be 1darkened
and refuse to give his 2light unto you;
. . . . 2c and also the 2moon and the 3stars;
. . . . 3c and there shall be no 3light upon the face
of this land,
. . b-1 even from the time
. . b-2 that he shall suffer death,
a-1 for the space of three days,
a-2 to the time that he shall rise again from the dead.
! v21 Yea, at the time that he shall yield up the ghost
a-1 there shall be thunderings and lightnings for the space of many
hours,
a-2 and the earth shall shake and tremble;
. . b-1 and the rocks which are upon the face of this earth,
. . b-2 which are both above the earth
. . b-3 and beneath,
. . . . c which ye know at this time are solid,
. . . . c or the more part of it is one solid mass,
. . . . . . d shall be broken up;
. . . . . . d v22 Yea, they shall be rent in twain,
. . . . c and shall ever after be found in seams
. . . . c and in cracks,
. . . . c and in broken fragments
. . b-1 upon the face of the whole earth,
. . b-2 yea, both above the earth

a-1 v23 And behold, there shall be great tempests,
a-2 . i and there shall be many mountains laid low,

. . . . . . ii and there shall be many places which are now called valleys
. . . . i which shall become mountains, whose height is great.

. . b shall be broken up,
a and many cities
. . b shall become desolate.
a v25 And many graves

. . b and shall yield up many of their dead;

. . b shall appear unto many.
a v26 And behold, thus hath the angel spoken unto me;
a for he said unto me
. . b that there should be thunderings and lightnings
. . . . c for the space
. . . . . . d of many hours.
a v27 And he said unto me
. . b that while the thunder and the lightning lasted,
. . b and the tempest,
. . b that these things should be,
. . b and that darkness should cover the face of the whole earth
. . . . c for the space
. . . . . . d of three days.
a v28 And the angel said unto me that many shall
see greater things than these,
. . b to the intent
. . . . c that they might believe
a that these signs and these wonders should come to pass upon all the face
of this land,
. . b to the intent
. . . . c that there should be no cause for unbelief among the
children of men--
a v29 And this to the intent that whosoever will believe
. . b might be saved,
a and that whosoever will not believe,
. . b a righteous judgment might come upon them;
a and also if they are condemned
. . b they bring upon themselves*
a their own condemnation.
! v30 And now remember, remember, my brethren,
a that whosoever perisheth, perisheth unto himself;
. . b and whosoever doeth iniquity, doeth it unto himself;
. . . . c for behold, ye are free;
. . . . . . ye are permitted to act for yourselves;
. . . . . . d for behold, God hath given unto you a knowledge
. . . . . . . . e and HE HATH MADE YOU FREE.

. . . . . . good from evil,
. . . . c and he hath given unto you that ye might choose life or death;
. . b and ye can do good and be restored unto that which is good, or have that
which is good restored unto you;
a or ye can do evil, and have that which is evil restored unto you.
