bullet  Commentary

. . The focal point (J) of the chiasm is verse fourteen, which says that grain is to be the staff of life for not just humans but animals as well. When was the last time you saw a lion eating grass? This obviously points to a terrestrial way of living, rather than the current telestial, kill and be killed world.
. . Note that the correlation of verses 12, 13 and 15 in I places the emphasis on not eating the flesh of animals except to save your life.
. . The correlations in F, like in the focal point, place man and animals on an equal standing in their diet.
. . D-4 makes it clear that the Word of Wisdom is a commandment after all. Since when has it been appropriate to consider revelation from God to be any less?

Schopenhauer
All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
   Second, it is violently opposed; and
   Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
