A v9 Whom
B shall he teach
C knowledge?
A and whom
B shall he make to understand
C doctrine? |
A v26 Yea, wo be unto him
B that hearkeneth unto
C the precepts of
men,
|
| 66
|
A them
B that are weaned
C from the milk,
B and drawn
C from the breasts. |
B and denieth
C the power of God,
C and the gift of
the Holy Ghost! |
Yea, wo be unto him, who has been weaned from the milk and drawn from the
breast, having been taught knowledge and made to understand doctrine, and yet
hearkeneth unto the precepts of men, for he denieth the power of God, and the
gift of the Holy Ghost!
| 67 |
v10 For |
v27 Yea, wo be unto him that
saith: |
68
|
precept must
be upon precept,
precept upon precept; |
We have received, |
69
|
line upon line,
line upon line; |
and we need |
70
|
here a
little,
and there a little: |
no more! |
For precept must be upon precept, line upon line, here a little, and there a
little. Therefore, wo be unto him that saith: We have received, and we need no
more!
| 71 |
v11 For |
v28 And in fine, wo unto all
those |
| 72 |
with stammering lips |
who tremble, |
| 73 |
and another tongue |
and are angry because of the
truth of God! |
And in fine, wo unto all those who tremble at the stammering lips; and at
another tongue they are angry, because of the truth of God!
| 74
|
will he speak
|
a For behold, he
b that is built
c upon the rock
d
receiveth it
e with gladness; |
| 75
|
to this people.
|
a and he
b that is built
c upon a sandy
foundation
d
trembleth
e lest he shall fall. |
For behold, he will speak; and he that is built upon the rock, receiveth it
with gladness; but this people, that are built upon a sandy foundation,
trembleth lest they shall fall.
| 76 |
v12 To whom he said, |
v29 Wo be unto him that
shall say: |
| 77 |
This is THE
REST |
We have received |
| 78 |
wherewith ye may cause the
weary to REST; |
the word of God,
[See "rest": Isa. 11:10.] |
| 79 |
and this is the
refreshing: |
and we
need no more of the word of God, |
Wo be unto him that shall say: We have received the rest of the word
of God, not wanting the rest, whereby he causes the weary to rest; and being
weary they say, We need no more of the word of God, which is the
refreshing."
| 80 |
yet they |
for we |
| 81 |
would not hear. |
have enough! |
We will not hear for we have enough!

The following is the correlation from which the discovery of this large

v13 But the
word of the LORD |
v30
For behold, thus saith
the Lord God: |
| 83 |
was unto
them |
I will give unto
the children of men |
| 84 |
• precept
upon precept,
• precept upon precept; |
line
upon line , |
| 85 |
• line
upon line,
• line upon line; |
precept upon precept , |
| 86 |
here a little , |
here a little |
| 87 |
and there a little ; |
and there a little ; |
For behold, thus saith the Lord God unto them: I will give my word unto the
children of men, precept upon precept, line upon line, precept upon precept,
line upon line, precept upon precept, line upon line; here a little and there a
little;

a and blessed
are those
b who hearken unto
c my precepts,
b and lend an ear unto
c my counsel,
a for they
b shall learn
c wisdom;
a for unto him
b that receiveth
c I will give more; |
And blessed are those (though there seem to be none) who learn to hearken and
lend an ear to the wisdom of my counsel and precepts, and receiveth them, for
unto them I will give more.
| 88 |
that they |
and from them |
| 89 |
might go, |
that shall say, |
| 90 |
and fall
backward, |
We have enough, |
But them that go and say, "We have enough," shall fall backward.
| 91 |
and be broken, |
from them |
| 92 |
and snared, |
shall be taken away |
| 93 |
and taken. |
even that which they have. |
They shall be broken, for even that which they have shall be taken away,
which shall be a snare to them.
