Class 3: Purposes of Telepathy

Let’s review what we have covered so far. First we discussed the meaning of telepathy: communication outside the five senses. We studied the chart and learned about the etheric body. We looked at the etheric body by holding our thumbs against a white sheet of paper and slowly pulling them apart. We described it as a web of energy (glowing gold) that surrounds our body and connects us etherically to everyone else. It is part of our physical body and is where the chakras are located. The chakras correspond to various glands.

I postulated that the etheric body is the veil that separates us from the other side. The spirit world of NDE’s is the Astral/emotional realm. We also talked briefly about the higher heavens mentioned in Life in the World Unseen which we will refer to as the mental realms.

We studied the first two types of telepathy: instinctual and mental. We learned that instinctual telepathy is the most common and what is termed, mother’s intuition, gut feelings and works through the solar plexus. We would associate it with the astral/emotional realm. We talked about mental telepathy and it coming through the throat chakra, the seat of creativity. We also mentioned it works best when used in conjunction with the heart chakra. We often call mental telepathy a hunch. Mental telepathy is common among scientists, writers, inventors and artists. It is coming into use more and more and is what is often used in Remote Viewing

Last week we discussed the balance of male/female energies. In the Adam/Eve story we see parallels of the woman receiving the next step, the man concurring and then working out the physical details. In those religions that bring the arm to the square, we also see the correlation between the energies. The forearm pointed heavenward indicates the female energies and the horizontal plane of the upper arm signifies the male energy that grounds us and suggests a doing energy. Neither gift is as useful without the other.

We practiced telepathy with pictures and found the energies spread a little more than I planned on and had to end up just using one sender in the room so we wouldn’t get crossed messages. We sent four things based on each picture: temperature, texture, color and feelings/emotions. We were basically using mental telepathy and had some difficulty sending the emotion. If I were to have you bring a picture of your favorite place the emotion would come through much easier.

We touched briefly in our first class on the third type of telepathy. Does anyone remember what it was? Intuitional Telepathy is correct. From our chart what level is the intuitional? Soul, that is correct. Now in looking at your chart you can see that we are leaving what the LDS term the Telestial levels and moving into Terrestrial levels. From a more eastern religious point of view we are leaving the personal or personality level and moving more into group consciousness.

As a side note, black magic concerns itself with the three levels of physical, emotional or astral and mental. So another word really for Telestial is hell. Black magic concerns itself only with the material realms. We don’t often think of the mental realm as material, but it can be traced as waves and we know from physics that waves are energy or light.

So-called white magic also can use physical, emotional/astral or mental realms to work within, but it does so with different motives or purpose.

Many fear to use things like telepathy means that you will automatically be delving into the black arts. Interestingly enough, some who think they are working on the side of light and goodness are stepping into black magic without knowing it. Part of the purpose of this class is to learn the difference and stay on the side of white magic or telepathy with a good purpose.

The way to do that is to evaluate your motives. If you are concerned about yourself only, you are dealing in black magic. If you are concerned about others you are more likely to be dealing in white magic. There is a gray area and that is your family. If you are only concerned about your family or some very limited group, you could also be dealing in black magic. It depends on whether you see family or group as an extension of yourself. If members of the family or group are not allowed to think for themselves much and a lot of tactics are used to keep people in line, you can almost bet it is slipping into black magic, often unknowingly.

Eyes are said to be the windows into your soul. The third eye is the seat of the soul. When you are receiving telepathy through your third eye, it will be a message from the soul for a group good. The message then uses the throat chakra to form the best words to explain it and steps it down even further to the mental level where understanding occurs and then it is given to the brain where we become aware of it most consciously. The soul energy also comes through the heart chakra. It seems with the higher chakras they are all underscored with the heart chakra. The throat works best through the energies of the heart and so does the third eye.

Part of the problem is learning to step down the energies. People in meditation or early morning reverie or just upon wakening “know” something and because they aren’t translating it fast enough into terms the brain can be conscious of, it is lost to us. We know that we know something, but we can’t hold onto it.

Another reason we lose it, is because we over evaluate it or run it through societies filters before we will accept it. Because it will often seem the opposite of what the emotional realm is expecting, it will rebel and throw it out of consciousness. It may seem that I am picking on the emotional/astral realm. That is where most of us are polarized right now or have our attention on. It has its place, but if we don’t recognize the higher realms it will become as a chain to us and hold us back. Used correctly, it is a wonderful energy

Used correctly it will catapult us into the soul level. When we desire something (we say with all our heart, but really it is with all our solar plexus) we create it. If we don’t recognize who we truly are at a soul level we overemphasize one of the lower levels.

We become out of balance either with our looks, our intellect or our lower toned emotions. Remember the saying from the seventies: “if it feels good, do it?” If ever there were a low level astral slogan that would be it. Mothers who cannot say no to their children and incur their children’s displeasure or negative emotions are too polarized in the lower astral. “Tough love” means being willing to incur negative emotions, but doing something for their own good. Tough love is usually a mental decision. We look at a situation, evaluate it and know that something has to change. And we stand firm for that change out of love.

Our desire or higher emotion is for our child to have a good life and we are willing to be “the bad guy” today to help them achieve it. On my fridge is my all time favorite saying: “The chief cause of failure and unhappiness is trading what we want most for what we want the moment.” This perfectly illustrates the difference between the higher and lower tones of the emotional level.

Some of these forms of telepathic work have necessarily their distorted reflections on the physical plane. These you might like to ponder upon, and trace the correspondences between them. What is "mass psychology" with its unreasoning quality and its blind activity, but a massed reaction to solar plexus impressions as passed from group to group? What is "public opinion," so called, but vague mental reactions by the mass of men beginning to grope their way on the mental plane, to the activity and play of more active and powerful minds? The written and spoken words are not in themselves adequate to account for the display of modern opinion as we now have it. What is the apparently accurate information, so rapidly circulated among the savage races, but an expression of that instinctual telepathy which uses the vital body and the pranic fluids as its medium?

All of us are souls and have a soul purpose. All of us AS souls chose to come here. I believe we recognized before we came here what our piece of the puzzle was to be. I personally believe we spend many lifetimes perfecting that piece of the puzzle to make it fit with the other pieces to create a beautiful picture. One perfect puzzle piece by itself is incomplete. “Can the foot say to the hand I have no need of thee?”

To tap into the soul level is to tap into what is termed The Plan in Heaven or The Plan of the Hierarchy or The Plan of the White Brotherhood. When you receive or send information from the level of soul, the purpose is to further the plan in some way.

The soul energy is the level that gathers. People who are responding to that energy are gathering together to increase their strength. So here today, those that feel a pull to telepathy are gathering to increase their knowledge and wisdom, but also their love for one another.

We cannot increase our strength if we tear at each other. Like the black widow, the easiest one to destroy is our mate, but the surest way to destroy a group that has gathered is to criticize the members of that group. Too often when we see a weakness in our leaders, we tear into them amongst ourselves. Instead if we were to send them the energy of love and strength and whatever they need to overcome their weakness, we would have stronger groups. . It makes more sense to me now why we were cautioned in the LDS church, “No evil speaking of the Lord’s anointed.” Not because they don’t have faults but because it weakens the group.

Today in our awareness we will change that tendency to criticize and nitpick and find fault. . Today we will desire to increase the love amongst us and strengthen one another and see the good there is. When we see a weakness we will lend our strength until they, too, are strong. When we see our own weakness we will ask for help to shave off the edges so our puzzle piece will fit with the others we are with.

The Mantram of Unification

The sons of men are one and I am one with them.
I seek to love, not hate;
I seek to serve and not exact due service;
I seek to heal, not hurt.

Let pain bring due reward of light and love.
Let the soul control the outer form,
And life, and all events,
And bring to light the Love
That underlies the happenings of the time.
Let vision come and insight.
Let the future stand revealed.
Let inner union demonstrate and outer cleavages be gone
Let love prevail
Let all men love.

I would like for each of us to see into the soul of each person here. Stand facing the person, and hold their hands while saying to them, "I love you through the soul with the pure love of Christ." First one says it and then the other and then you move on to someone else until you have had the opportunity to do this with each person here.

I want each of you to pair up and then choose a room: the living room, the parlor, the kitchen. Take this envelope and use the cards one at a time. They are pictures of simple objects. One will receive and the other send and then you will switch. Think of four things: the object itself, its texture and color, then picture you using it. When you are ready to send, simply say “ready” and begin. Spend one minute or so sending the information. When you are through, say “sent”. The receiver immediately writes down their impressions. Then reverse the process with a second picture. When you are through come back into the living room and we will share results. Then I will send to all of you at once. We will begin with simple things and grow each week into more complex tasks.
