I've been talking about the scripture all week found in Alma about how the church then prayed when moved upon by the Holy Ghost, or exhorted or blessed or sang.  There was no set format, but it was an open format led by the Spirit.  Such meetings are wonderful to attend.  Sterling and I were discussing such meetings we had attended last night where this pattern was followed.  There were manifestations of power--i.e. spiritual gifts like speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, healings, blessings and so forth.  They were quite wonderful.  I hope to participate in more loving interactions like that.  If I were a Bishop of a ward I think I would invite one or two to be prepared with a five minute talk on a subject and then open up the meeting to whatever testimony or song people wanted to lead us in.  Bet I wouldn't be Bishop long but I bet the people would love it!  Susan
