I am a rock
I may seem small.
I may not talk
unless you call.
But if you will ask,
and reach in your soul,
The truth of my message
will begin to unfold.
Be still, my brother,
my kindred in Christ;
know that the atonement
for all things did suffice.
I too, like you all
have an agency that lives,
and breathes, and strives,
and seeks eternal lives.
I am your brother --
an equal before God.
I am an intelligence
which before God is awed.
I now am a rock,
but someday may be
A person like you
who once was a tree.
And like you, my friend
as I fill my full measure
The fullness of God
will receive as my treasure.
