Today, at the end of a very enlightening three-way phone conversation, my good friend Renelle asked me to look up her Living Joy institute toll-free number (in the Hebrew and Greek lexicons). Part of our conversation had included the fitting irony that the toll-free prefix number, 800, is right next to 801, which is the area code of Utah, which is more synonymous with usury and not getting anything unless you have worked hard for money (see word study on "Utah"). Such juxtaposition of equal opposites is quite common in these word and number studies. I also mentioned how fitting it is that 888 is the new toll-free extension, as 888 is the number of the word Jesus spelled out in Greek (see word study on "888 and Without Hands"). Salvation is free, requiring only the broken heart and contrite spirit that acknowledges our nothingness, that we are bankrupt before God.

The number Renelle gave me to look up is 1-888- I Live Joy (the y being extra, and not effecting the dialing). The first thing I did is find the number equivalent for these letters on the phone keypad. It came out to:

I Live Joy
4 5483 569

5483

The first number combination I thought I would try was 5483. Word 5483 in Gesenius' Old Testament lexicon is wpe67.jpg (802 bytes), which comes from the unused root by that same spelling (listed just prior) which means, "to be glad, prop. to leap for joy." Word 5483 itself means "(1) a horse, so called from its leaping; (2) a swallow, so called from its swift and cheerful flight."

That fits pretty well! The unlogical wonder about it is that this verbatim meaning of joy comes from the phone digits that correspond to the spelling of "Live," not joy, but that it was in this context that I happened to look this up for the first time. This sort of uncanny synchronicity is a trademark of these word and number studies.

For what it is worth, the word prior to 5482 is wpe70.jpg (810 bytes), which can be interpreted as "opening, key, i.e. of Egypt." I personally do believe that Renelle has had special gifts bestowed upon her to do the work of healing that she does, so I see this juxtaposition as very fitting. A couple of words before that is wpe71.jpg (784 bytes), which means, "to anoint." A word after 5483 means, "(1) to snatch away, to carry away" (5486) which to me elicits the idea of Renelle's work in helping people be released from bonds of generational garbage and unresolved past traumas.

Harmonizing with the spirit of our conversation about toll-free numbers and their metaphorical connection to the idea of salvation being a gift offered freely, word 5483 (wpe72.jpg (1030 bytes) charizomai) in Zodhiates' New Testament lexicon means, "To shew someone a favor, be kind to. To give or bestow a thing willingly," with the derivative listed, "charisma (5486), a gift of grace," and synonyms, "didomi (1325), to give, bestow; eleutheroo(1659), to set free, deliver; ...aphiemi (863), to send forth, remit; apuluo (630), to loose from;" etc. Notice how the synonym definitions, "to send forth" and "loose from" relate to the vicinity word above in Hebrew, "to snatch away, to carry away" (5486).

569

Next, I thought I would look up 569, which is the dial-equivalent of "joy." In the Hebrew lexicon, this word is the proper name, Amraphel, thought to be contracted from heb-amr.jpg (825 bytes) and heb-apl.jpg (812 bytes), "the commandment which went forth." heb-amr.jpg (825 bytes) relates to the idea of speech: "talking, speaking, saying, a word." heb-apl.jpg (812 bytes) includes the meaning of obscure, weak, and tender; as well as the meanings of "obscure, dark, misery, misfortune." Distilling these together, to me this brings to mind the work Renelle does in eliciting from people's inner beings (tender), on the subconscious level (obscure, dark), those understandings (sayings) that will release the blockage (misery, misfortune, failure) in their progress.

For Renelle, the idea of speaking ties in to the importance she places on openly praising God, acknowledging his(&her) hand in all things. Matching this by opposite contrast is word 569 in the New Testament Greek lexicon: wpe75.jpg (954 bytes), "To doubt or not to acknowledge," with antonym listed, "pisteuo (4100), to believe." In the Hebrew lexicon, word 4100 is wpe76.jpg (772 bytes) or simply wpe77.jpg (730 bytes), mem, which letter of the Hebrew alphabet stands symbolically for the hidden Messiah, which seems apropos to the nature of the work Renelle is doing.

8356

The other number I looked up was the last four digits of the seven-digit actual phone number: 1-888-454-8356. Word 8356 in the Old Testament lexicon is wpe78.jpg (779 bytes), which means, "columns." That is also the meaning listed for word 803, which Gesenius lists both just before word 800 as well as after, hence, tying back to the idea of the gift of salvation. 800 is "fire," 801 is "sacrifice," and 802 is "woman," all three words being spelled with the same three Hebrew letters: wpe79.jpg (823 bytes).

I believe there is deep and rich significance to this association of words. So much contained in so little outward information. The fire of the Holy Ghost by which comes a mighty change of heart, when the sacrifice of a broken heart and contrite spirit has been placed on the alter, and the female-like attributes of the Holy Ghost: love, peace, gentleness, long-suffering, tenderness, intuition, etc. That "pillar" (803 [link 8356]) would circumscribe these words, seems most appropriate, as it is these things by which we become anchored on the rock of Jesus Christ, the sure foundation. Gesenius also suggests the meanings of "to prop, sustain, heal, solace" in the derivation of word 803, which, again, fit very well into the theme of what Renelle is doing in her work (and many other women too).

Finally, there are two places Gesenius lists the wpe7A.jpg (726 bytes) sin/shin words. The insertion point of word 8356 in the wpe7B.jpg (726 bytes) sin section (not many words, hence large skips in sequence) is immediately after word 8342, wpe7C.jpg (833 bytes), which means, "joy, gladness."
