Speaking of numbers; in the process of compiling the archives of the Keys of knowledge list, I found that Spiritweb had a breakdown in mid '99 and restarted the count at one. To correct the count, I have to add 4268 to all the latter posts. I am curious to know if you can relate this "magic number", as Marylin and I call it, to your Bible code.

Word 4268 in the NT lexicon [Zodhiates] is PROGNOSIS (Greek spelling -- happens to be identical spelling to the English derivation): "Foreknowledge, prior acknowledgement, favorable recognition or consideration beforehand. It is used to denote the foreordained fellowship of God with the objects of His saving power."

It derives from word 4267, which comes just before it -- "to perceive or recognize beforehand, known previously, take into account or specially consider beforehand, to grant prior acknowledgement or recognition to someone, to foreknow."

The word before that means, "To be done before, to have been before."

Word 4268 in Hebrew [Gesenius] doesn't seem to fit as tightly, though it has a cool meaning. "A refuge; the person to whom one flees, used of Jehovah." I see this as a validation of the need to rely on the Lord.

In posting this 4268 bit to my web site just now, I realized that the number 4268 itself seems to have a latent message.

4268 as a series of digits is very close to the progressive sequence 2 . 4 . 6 . 8, with the exception that the first two digits are reversed in sequence. If I could read between the lines -- and admittedly this is very subjective -- I would see it as symbolic of the quest for truth or spiritual progression at the keys of knowledge list, but your foundation is backwards -- reversed. Jesus Christ is the only sure foundation upon which man might build. Keysters have it backwards, they claim to be Christ now, and say that Jesus was just a way-shower, rather than viewing Jesus Christ as the foundation by which we come into the fullness of Christ.

Something else just occurred to me regarding word 4268 in the Greek.

It is very rare for the transliteration of a Greek spelling to be identical to its modern English counterpart. I'm not sure I've ever seen this before in all the thousands of words I have looked at in the New Testament lexicon.

The Greek word BD@(<TF4H, transliterated letter-for-letter is PROGNOSIS. Prognosis is a common modern English word and spelling, derived obviously from this ancient word.

The significance of this line-up in your context is that 4268 is the "line-up" conversion for your keys of knowledge list numbering. By that number, the old numbering comes into harmony with the new.

An amazing convergence to be sure.

A primary meaning of word 4268 is "Foreknowledge," elaborated by the synonyms given:

Syn. pronoia (4307), forethought, providence; prothesis (4286), a setting forth beforehand.

This match-up is an amazing illustration of the foreknowledge of God -- that he(&she) could set forth such an amazing convergence of events millennia before they transpired.

The word after this in the Greek New Testament lexicon is

4269 progonos Born earlier; as a subst. parent, ancestor, older.  In the NT, progonoi means forefathers; parents.

What comes immediately to mind for me on this is the idea of multiple mortal probations -- reincarnation in the vernacular used at the keys of knowledge list.  Reincarnation, according to them, is a fundamental understanding that needs to come into the Western World.

The etymology of this word is very interesting to consider in this context.  Protonos comes from proginomai (4266), which means, "to become or be already."  A primary theme at the keys of knowledge list is that the essence of who or what we are is "I am becoming that which I choose to become."

That the word for progenitor would derive from a word that means, "to become or be already," is a very strong validation of the idea that we are not here for the first time, but that previous mortalities are part of our experience making us who we are today.

The word before that is

4270 prographo To write before. 
(I) In reference to time past, to have written before or at a former time. 
(II) In reference to future time, to affix beforehand in writing, to announce by posting up a written tablet.

Again, we see the theme of the foreknowledge of God being manifest through that which was written anciently coming forth today to speak of things now.

The remainder of this definition turns out to be extremely apropos as I will explain shortly.  Zodhiates continues his explanation for word 4270 as follows:

In Jude 1:4 it means to proscribe, appoint, ordain, post up publicly in writing.  Those who were summoned before courts of justice were said to be progegrammenoi, posted up ahead of time, because they were cited by posting up their names in some public place.  Even in our day the cases to be heard by a judge are written beforehand and appended in a public place in the courthouse.  Thus what Jude is declaring is that judgment was published or declared in writing ahead of time.... Thus Jude 1:4 may man those who not only must give an account to God for their crimes and are liable to God's judgment, but who are destined to the punishment they deserve.  As to where they are proscribed, we must look at Jude 1:5-7,11.

I was dumbfounded when I read Jude 1:5-7 and then looked back at Jude 1:4.  So you can appreciate why I was so struck, I should share with you a piece of information that Rick, they founder and administrator of the keys of knowledge list, has not withheld but which he has made public on several occasions.  In fact, there is another document on this very website where this information is quoted.  See Keys of Knowledge Posts 6293-6304 & Page 666 Gesenius.  In post number 6304 Rick states:

Now the interesting thing is, Rebecca (Beci for short) is able to have experiences that are just not available to Rick. "She" has a much different personality, is calmer and more outgoing, makes friends faster and is more sensitive to others. I can and do integrate my two personalities, as much as possible, but a complete meld can only happen in non physical realms.[...<snip>]

In going to one of the alternate keys public forums just now to look for Rick&Beci's picture, my eye caught the following article by Xavier Dolleans titled, "Sterling R3bElZ!"

I've been thinking.
In my answer to Sterling's poll I insisted on my love for Magic.
I reached the soul contact that I have today by being alone, stranded, revolted with authorities and such.
So I'm proud to boast about any "rebel" spiritual attitude that I may have.

4271 prodelos Manifest openly. In the NT used emphatically meaning manifest before all, well-known, conspicuous.

And so their open rebellion is open for all to see, via a website that can be viewed from anywhere on the planet.

Seeing as I myself was once a member of Rick's Keys of Knowledge discussion group, focused on the teaching of J.J. Dewey, but left in protest of the adamant New Age bend of the list, the next two words are quite interesting, especially considering what I have written here in response to Rick's question this morning. 

4274 prodidomi To give beforehand, to give first. Used by Greek writers meaning to give forth or over, betray. Deriv. (4273), a betrayer, traitor.

Even as they are rather proud of their rebellion against the traditional mores of Christianity, so am I without regret in leaving their company, which association at first appeared to be intent on growing in the light of God, but in the final analysis is more caught up in some heavy deceptions of Satan, who is their angel of much of their light.

The word prognosis (number 4268) falls on page 664 of my Webster's '71 dictionary -- two pages short of 666.  The last word on page 665, just prior to 666 is:

promiscuous: <from promisceo--pro, and misceo, to mix> Consisting of individuals united in a body or mass without order; mingled indiscriminately; forming part of a confused crowd or mass; random; indiscriminate.
