RE: I.O.U. = 666 counting backward in alphabet
The numbers game never ceases to amaze and, if nothing else, entertain. Since my home
address contains "665" perhaps I should just keep my mouth shut. But it is not
to be.
I had the impression that 6 is the number of punishment. Just to hypothesize, 600 could
represent the larger group of mankind. We could also suppose to allocate 60 to a group
(lets say, the Church), and then we have 6 left over for the individual. This is somewhat
like the hologram or Russian doll enfolding in magnitude.
To interpret "666" using this hypothesis, it would implicate a complete
vengeance by the Lord through the agency of whatever power "666" may bring to
punish and literally burn out the filth of each soul, which in turn would cleanse the
Church, and lay the foundation to reclaim all mankind. But afterward we would have to go
through 777, the day of rest, or the day of meditation on what has taken place in 666. It
is a time for reflection, for sorrow and repair of character. It needs time for a rebirth
into the "new man," the "new society." It is a Sabbath, somewhat like
the womb, where one is protected and nourished while the new creature is prepared for the
day of completion, the new birth and the new world. The planet is born, as it were, like a
supernova.
When that is achieved, we have graduated as a perfected 888, knowing Christ because we
are Christ. It is at this point that we know who Christ is because we understand Him, and
we understand Him only because we perceive as He perceives, and feel like He feels, and
live as He lives. We are, therefore, Saviors on Mount Zion, or "Christs" at His
Coming.
