"The North American Numbering Plan Administration on Monday
[5/8/00] assigned the 385 area code to Davis, Morgan, Utah and Weber
counties on Dec. 31, 1999. Salt Lake County will keep the 801 area code, and the rest of the
state will keep the 435 area
code."

Introduction
(If this is your first exposure to "Alphabetics" you might want
to glance at an introductory
document or read a quick teaser.)
Extensive word studies have been done on the two
current telephone area codes in the state of Utah. The word definitions
associated with the numbers 801 and 435 have been rich with prophetic commentary
relevant to the people, religion, and trends of these regions of Utah.
Therefore, when I heard that Utah was getting a new area code, I was
immediately curious to see what kind of commentary that new number might have
in store in the Alphabetics code.
While the words surrounding 801 convey primarily the idea of
"foolish," calling to mind the parable of the wise and foolish
virgins; and the words surrounding 435 convey the idea of "an outcast
remnant;" the words surrounding 385 convey primarily the idea of
"awake, arise from dust," piecing together the theme of Isaiah
52:1-3, which is the most oft-quoted passage of Isaiah in the Book of
Mormon. (e.g. 2 Nephi 1:13,14,23; 2 Ne. 8:7,24; Jacob 3:11; Mosiah 2:40;
3 Ne. 20:36; Ether 8:24; Moro. 10:31.)
|
Isaiah 52:1-3
1 Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put
on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth
there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
2 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O
Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter
of Zion.
3 For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves
for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money. |
The correlations here are not just happenstance or abstract conceptual
applications. There are also multiple-witness mathematical linkages or gametria
that prove that the match-up is intentional.
(June 3, 2000)
SUBJECT
All three Utah Area Codes are interconnected in the Alphabetics Bible Code,
proving a prophetic intention in the match-up.
TEXT
Salt Lake County retains 801, while the other counties previously 801 will
become 385. The outlying areas of Utah will retain the 435 area code.
It turns out that these three numbers are explicitly linked by using the
various Alphabetics tools, including gametria, which is also called
Theomatics.
As a teaser for the write-up, I wanted to share with you a discovery I made
a couple of days ago that will be part of the completed write-up, which I will
announce later.
Briefly, by way of peeking, I will say that the definitions surrounding the
number 385 have a far more bright outlook than those for 801. While 801
strongly depicts the idea of the people of God being as salt that has lost its
savor -- the foolish virgins -- 385 ties in strongly to the Isaiah 52 wording,
"Awake, awake, put on strength O Zion."
My sense was that though there are a lot of 385's in the world, this
commentary on 385 was intended to be directed specifically to this segment of
Utah Mormons and Christians represented by the 385 telephone prefix. Still, I
thought it would be nice to have some kind of explicit indication that this
was intended to be the case.
Two days ago, I found just that. It turns out that the three telephone area
code numbers for Utah, 435, 801, and now 385 are interconnected by the
Alphabetics code.
LINK ONE
Word number 435 in the New Testament (NT) lexicon (James Strong's standard numbering) is spelled ANER
[the E is the letter eta]. The numeric values of these Greek letters are A(1)
+ N(50) + E(8) + R(100) = 159.
Word 385 in Zodhiates' NT lexicon (my favorite, and the one I use
most often), is found on page 159. That matching number links the
numbers (area codes) 435 and 385.
LINK TWO
Word 385 in the NT lexicon is ANASPAO. The numeric values of these
Greek letters are A(1) + N(50) + A(1) + S(200) + P(80) + A(1) + O(800) = 1133.
Word 1133 in the NT lexicon means, "foolish women." "Foolish"
is the primary definition of word 801 in the NT lexicon. That parallel
definition links area codes 385 and 801.
LINK THREE
The meaning of word 435 in the Greek NT is "man" -- perfect
antonym of "woman," thus providing a link between 435 and 385
("woman" in definition 1133, the gametria value of 385).
LINK FOUR
As yet another validation, word definition1133 (gametria of word 385) is
found on page 386 of Zodhiates' NT lexicon.
According to the Alphabetics word-number studies, words and numbers in
vicinity are intended to lend commentary. 386 is definitely very close to 385.
There's more (I found this just now).
LINK FIVE
Word 385 in the NT lexicon derives etymologically from word 303, which, for
what it is worth, was the area code in Colorado when I grew up there. On page
303 of Zodhiates' NT lexicon is word 877, which means "folly,
foolishness," which parallels the definition of NT word 801,
"foolish." Thus 801 and 385 are linked by this means as well.
WITNESS SIX.
The first word on page 303 of Zodhiates NT lexicon is numbered 876. That
number is significant inasmuch as it is the page number in Gesenius' OT
lexicon on which the very LAST word is listed. Considering the significance of
"alpha" and "omega," this correlation would seem to
suggest the importance of the 801, 435, 385 set and the peculiar people to
whom they refer.
LINK SEVEN
Also, word 385 in Gesenius' Old Testament lexicon as well as word 385 in
Thayer's NT lexicon both occur on pages 41 of those respective volumes.
Considering the overall pagination difference between the texts, since one is
in reference to the Old Testament and one is in reference to the New
Testament, though not hugely significant statistically speaking, this is
nonetheless worth note.
The next page alignment series begins on page 135. The third word on the
page, which means, "to affirm strongly, assert confidently," is
numbered 1226. The gametria for word 801 in Greek comes to 1226. Hence another
Utah area code hit.
The first thing I noticed in looking up word 385 in the New Testament
Lexicon (Zodhiates') is the word that comes
immediately after it.
386 "<"FJ"F4H anastasis
Resurrection, recovery. (I) A standing on the feet again or rising as
opposed to falling. (II) Resurrection of the body from death, return to
life.
The impression that hit me when I saw this, and which has been confirmed
with what I have found in further investigation, is that this word study on
385 is going to have a positive, redemptive, uplifting tone whereas the 801
write-up tended to be extremely negative in its portrayal of how the people of
God have reneged on their calling to be a light to the world.
The meaning of word 385 itself is:
385 "<"FB"T anaspao
To draw up or back again.
To me, this holds out promise to the people of area code 385 signifying
that at least a significant portion of them are going come around and become
the people they were foreordained to be in helping to pull off victory for the
Lord and the cause of freedom that is inseparable from the kingdom of God.
The word two prior to this one means, "to move or stir up" (383, anaseio),
which calls to mind the idea of stirring the people to a sense of their
destiny.
The word after that and prior to 385 means "to pack up baggage, and so
forth, in order to remove, hence to subvert or unsettle" (384, anaskeuazo).
The derivatives listed include "Iaposkeuazo (643), to remove; kataskeuazo
(2680), to prepare fully; paraskeuazo (3903), to make ready,
prepare."
What comes to my mind in reading these things in this context is the idea
that when the tribulations hit, then the people who have prepared -- though
they have been in the midst of ease -- will be able to flee to places of
safety such as the Sanpete Valley
which has a prophetic destiny for this exodus.
In accordance with the idea of awakening, word 1127 (gregoreou) that
spills onto page 385 of Zodhiates' New Testament
dictionary means, "to watch, to refrain from sleep." It is
derived from word 1235, diagregoreo, "to be awake."
That is a direct word match between word 385 and page 385.
Word 1129, also on page 385, similarly means, "exercise of the body by
severities such as fasting, abstinence, or watching."
What's more is that Zodhiates' definition and explanation for word 1127
fits in perfect synch with the antonyms given for word 801, which number is
the telephone area code prior to the change to 385 in December.
Here is Zodhiates' entry for word 801:
801 asunetoV asunetos
Without insight or understanding, unintelligent, foolish.
Antonyms sunetos (4908), able to reason logically
and arrive at the proper conclusions; sophos (4680), wise, able to
regulate relationships with God; nephalios (3524), circumspect,
sober, free from the influences of intoxicants and avoiding them.
Now compare that with Zodhiates' explanation for word 1127 that begins on
page 384 but whose bulk is on page 385:
1127 gregoreuo To watch, to refrain from sleep. It
was transferred in meaning from the physical to the moral religious
sphere. It denotes attention to God's revelation or to the knowledge
of salvation; a mindfulness of threatening dangers which, with conscious
earnestness and an alert mind, keeps it from all drowsiness and all
slackening in the energy of faith and conduct.
...This involves the duty of vigilance combined with prayer in regard either
to a certain day or hour when the Son of man shall arrive, or to some actual
crisis or trial.... In Acts 20:31 it is found in the exhortation by
Paul to the elders at Miletus in view of the apostasy that has taken place
or may be repeated under the influence of "fierce wolves."
...In 1 Thess. 5:6 and 1 Pet. 5:8, the verb "to watch" is combined
with nepho (3525), to exercise discretion or to be sober, which in 2
Tim. 4:5 and 1 Pet. 4:7 is translated, "be watchful" or
"watch." However, nepho means to be temperant [sic]
sober (originally to avoid intoxication, the abuse of alcohol). It
conveys the sense or calmness or coolness prepared for any
emergency.... Watchfulness or watching indicates that the Christian is
alert or vigilant in order to defend himself against a spiritual foe.
He is properly prepared for any surprise or sudden change in his
circumstances.
Word 801 refers to the antonym 3524 nephalios; and
word 1127 on page 385 refers to 3525 nepho. Word
3525 is derived from word 3524. Thus these two area code numbers are
linked, but by opposite meanings. 801 conveys spiritual grogginess or
stupor while 385 conveys the meaning of alertness. WAKE UP!
I find that very interesting and hopeful for the people of those regions
(as well as those who find themselves in parallel circumstances
elsewhere). My personal experience as I have lived in the Provo and
Mapleton area for approximately ten years off and on is that the people are
generally conservative and conscientious about freedom, though they are
reluctant to full alertness because of the perception that "the
brethren" in Salt Lake (still 801) "aren't currently saying anything
about these conspiracies [to overthrow the freedom of all lands nations and
countries]," though the voice of warning has certainly been raised in the
past by heroes such as Ezra Taft Benson.
It was in Provo back in 1990 that I commenced the American Study Group,
which, thanks to the help of many wonderful friends, served to wake up many
people. So I hope you will be patient with me as I indulge on a personal
level here and mention that word 1130, the numbers of my birthday (Nov. 30),
is also found on page 385, and its meaning is relevant to the idea of birth:
"To be naked."
Speaking of naked:
Also on page 385 of Zodhiates' NT lexicon is word
1128.
1128 gumnazo To train naked, as the Greek athletes.
Generally to exercise, train. Thus gumnasion, gymnasium, is a
place of exercising.
While the idea of exercise and gymnasiums are applicable to most any area
of the country, and it could be said that the pending 385 area code areas are
particularly keen on exercise in general; what makes this correlations of
particular relevance is that the Winter Olympics are coming to Utah in 2002,
and the 385 telephone code areas will be hosting several key venues for the
Olympics.
As a second witness or occurrence of this match, the following word
definition is found on page 385 of my Webster's '71 dictionary:
gymnasium (Gr. gymnasion, from gymnos, naked)
A place where athletic exercises are performed.
Word 385 in the Old Testament lexicon (Gesenius')
is
385 9/;*! Ithmar
"land of palms"
On first inspection that might not seem to have anything to do with the
areas of Utah that will receive the 385 telephone code. But a look at
the etymology of the word gives relevant commentary, as do the words before
and after it in its alphabetical sequence.
According to James Strong, word 385 is derived
from words "339" (land of) and 8558 "a palm tree."
Interesting that this number presents a chiasm of the last two digits of 385:
8558.
Word 8558 is derived from the root word that means, "to be or stand
erect."
This ties in again with Isaiah 52:1,2 which contains the injunction to
"awake, awake, put on strength, O Zion . . . shake thyself from the dust;
arise, and sit down."
The word just prior to this one, alphabetically, has an antonym meaning:
"a melting, liquefaction" (8557), which calls to mind the
destructions by earthquake prophesied to come to these valleys of Utah that
sit on a significant fault.
The word after it, 8559, "Tamar," the name of a town, is
also known by the name "Palmyra" (Gesenius). That is
the name of a key town in Mormon history, calling to mind Joseph Smith and the
restoration of the gospel, from which movement sprang most the inhabitants of
what will become telephone area code 385.
The word following word 385 in the OT lexicon (Gesenius)
is:
386 0;*! aythawn (1)
perennial, constant, especially used of water. 0;*! -;1
"a perennial stream," constantly flowing. Continuance, Ps.
74:15 "rivers of continuance," i.e. continually flowing.
(2) firm, valid (firmness, strength), Jer. 5:15 "a mighty nation"
(3) [opposite manifestation] hard, hence pernicious, terrible.
(4) a rock, a crag; Micah 6:2 "the rocks, the foundations of the
earth."
This calls to mind Lehi's injunction to his wayward sons, Laman and Lemuel,
in the second chapter of the Book of Mormon (I Ne. 2):
9 And when my father saw that the waters of the river emptied into the
fountain of the Red Sea, he spake unto Laman, saying: O that thou mightest
be like unto this river, continually running into the fountain of all
righteousness!
10 And he also spake unto Lemuel: O that thou mightest be like unto this
valley, firm and steadfast, and immovable in keeping the commandments of the
Lord!
11 Now this he spake because of the stiffneckedness of Laman and Lemuel; for
behold they did murmur in many things against their father, because he was a
visionary man, and had led them out of the land of Jerusalem, to leave the
land of their inheritance, and their gold, and their silver, and their
precious things, to perish in the wilderness. And this they said he had done
because of the foolish imaginations of his heart.
12 And thus Laman and Lemuel, being the eldest, did murmur against their
father. And they did murmur because they knew not the dealings of that God
who had created them.
This verse, in our context, calls to mind the future exodus that the
remnant will be called to take to escape the destructions that await the main
valleys because of the wickedness of those who have called themselves the
people of God but who too often are but hypocrites. The Lord gathers out
the wheat from the midst of the tares, and then the tares are left to be
burned (destroyed, purged), whether it be by earthquake, the return of Lake
Bonneville, invading armies, plagues or all of these and more.
Neighboring Sanpete Valley will
be one of the places of refuge for these remnant escapees.
The word definition just before 385 in Hebrew (Gesenius)
is
384 -!*;*! Itheiel
"God is with me."
The following word definitions are found on page 385 of Gesenius'
Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament
3545 healing, mitigation
3546 to be able
3547 to presage, to predict
3548, 3549 a priest
3550 priesthood, the office or function of a priest
...3553 a helmet [full armor of God]
"Would to God that all the Lord's people were prophets," mourned
Moses, as the people insisted on placing a man between them and God. The
remnant who overcome will be such: kings and priests unto the most high
God -- the valiant "boys from the west," the "elders of
Israel," who will stand in the gap as the morality and freedoms of this
nation and even of the world hang in the balance.
The first definition on page 385 of Thayer's Greek
English Lexicon of the New Testament, spilling over from the previous
page, is
3089 luo [fut. luso.] To loose; i.e. 1.
to loose any person (or thing) tied or fastened; 2. to loose one
bound, i.e. to unbind, release from bonds, set free; to discharge from
prison, let go; 3. to loosen, undo, dissolve; to overthrow, do away
with.
Again, this calls to mind Isaiah 52:1,2, which seems to be thematic for
385.
"...Loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive
daughter of Zion."
I also think of the prophecy, "the lawful captives shall be
delivered." Their bonds are considered 'lawful' in the society in
which they live, but the people of God will be delivered from those
bonds. How many 'lawful' bonds there are in this Babylonian society in
which we live? The command "loose thyself from the bands of thy
neck" is a proactive command which will be finalized by the Lord's
intercession to enable those bonds to be fully broken.
Another interesting definition on page 385 of Thayer's is
3091 Lot a covering, veil
The word "veil" is also found on page 385 of the index to the LDS Triple Combination.
Interesting that the name "Lot" would mean "veil," for
Lot was "hidden" in the midst of a society that was destined for
destruction, but was called out on the eve, and his life preserved.
Also on page 385 of Thayer's is the proper noun or name:
3094 Magdalene
Mary Magdalene can be considered a metaphor of the people of God, whom the
Lord compares to a bride. [See
write-up on this subject.] Mary, who was most likely Jesus' wife,
had had seven devils cast out of her. So also might the
"Church" be simultaneously considered both the bride and the
whore. The tares within constitute the "great and abominable"
element, and the wheat are the "bride" element. Hence the need
for the devils to be cast out, the bride purified, the house of God set in
order. This is one of the responsibilities of the remnant who are called
out, of which remnant the 385 telephone area code geographical region contains
a very significant portion.
On page 385 of James Strong's Exhaustive
Concordance of the Bible is found the listing, "gift."
That is the meaning of the very last word of the Old Testament lexicon,
conveying the idea of alpha and omega, signifying in this
context the gift of deliverance that will come to the remnant Saints who
repent and cry mightily to the Lord in the tribulations that come because they
have treated lightly the things they have been given.
Another entry of interest on the page is the listing,
"Gilead." I think of Avraham Gileadi, whose work with the
translation of Isaiah and expounding his commentary on our day, has been
monumentally instrumental in waking up a good many Saints. I would dare
say that most all those who end up among the Lord's chosen "remnant"
will have read writings by Avraham Gileadi.
The entry just before "gift" is "gier-eagle,"
which brings to mind the parable/scripture, "where the carcass is, there
will the eagles be gathered." I believe that during the
tribulations, Sanpete Valley will
be the primary place of protection and gathering of the Lord's people, though
there will be other pockets elsewhere in the world.
The phone prefix of Manti, 835, the county seat, is a variation of the area
code number 385 to the north. The word "remnant," for example,
is found on page 835 of Zodhiates. [See write-up on
Manti.]
On page 385 of the LDS King James
Version Old Testament is found the following thematic verse that also
finds application to the idea of those people residing in the telephone code
385 area.
"Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy
house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now
the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour,
and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed."
"Behold, the days come, that I will cut off..."
"And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according
to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure
house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever." (1 Samuel
2:30, 35.)
The context is one of deep apostasy of the Lord's people and the Lord's
call for a remnant to be separate and honour the Lord though the others
despise him by their waywardness. A strong parallel passage to this one,
which is wholly applicable in our context, is found in D&C 64:
34 Behold, the Lord requireth the heart and a willing mind; and the
willing and obedient shall eat the good of the land of Zion in these last
days.
35 And the rebellious shall be cut off out of the land of Zion, and shall be
sent away, and shall not inherit the land.
36 For, verily I say that the rebellious are not of the blood of Ephraim,
wherefore they shall be plucked out.
37 Behold, I the lord, have made my church in these last days like unto a
judge sitting on a hill, or in a high place, to judge the nations.
38 For it shall come to pass that the inhabitants of Zion shall judge all
things pertaining to Zion.
39 And liars and hypocrites shall be proved by them, and they who are not
apostles and prophets shall be known.
40 And even the bishop, who is a judge, and his counselors, if they are not
faithful in their stewardships shall be condemned, and others shall be
planted in their stead.
Verse 38 is the focal point of a chiasm that spans from verse 31
through 43. The awakened remnant will no longer renege on their
responsibility to scrutinize and set in proper order the house of God.
The pagination in the LDS
King James Bible does not start over in the New Testament, so "page
385" has to be calculated by adding 385 to 1187, where Matthew 1
begins. It comes to 1572.
Half way through page 1572 is where chapter 7 of Revelation
begins, which has the following chapter heading:
Chapter 7 John also sees in the sixth seal: The
restoration of the gospel foreseen; the sealing of the 144,000; and the
hosts of the exalted from all nations.
That certainly fits the idea of the awakened remnant.
The Rocky Mountain West Mormons, as especially concentrated in
Utah, following the chastisements, will be to the 144,000 what the Jews of the
land of Israel were anciently to the apostolic ministry the followed the
crucifixion and resurrection. It is the REMNANT portion that accept the
Lord.
The first two listings on page 385 of the LDS Topical Guide are as follows
Present (see also Give)
Preserve
Combined, this brings to mind he gift of deliverance that will
come to those whose trust is in the Lord. Indeed, the meaning of
"Israel" is "he who prevails with God." Prevail
is likewise listed on page 385 of the Topical Guide.
The word "prevail" also conveys an opposite meaning
for those not alert, who do not awaken to a sense of their awful situation as
commanded by Moroni. He saw that there would come a secret combination
that would seeks to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations and countries.
(Ether 8.)
Consider these key prophecies relating to
"prevailing."
"I beheld, and the same horn [beast] made war with the saints, and
prevailed against them." (Daniel 7:21.)
" And it was given unto him [the beast] to make war with the saints,
and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and
tongues, and nations." (Revelation 13:7.)
"And by hearkening to observe all the words which I, the Lord their
God, shall speak unto them, they shall never cease to prevail until the
kingdoms of the world are subdued under my feet, and the earth is given unto
the saints, to possess it forever and ever.
" But inasmuch as they keep not my commandments, and hearken not to
observe all my words, the kingdoms of the world shall prevail against
them." (D&C 103:7,8.)
Those who are truly built on the rock of Christ are promised
that the gates of hell will not prevail against them. Hence, the
"saints" referred to in the above prophecies will not have
adequately built on that unshakable foundation.
Back to page 385 of the Topical Guide, "Prevail" is
followed by the word "prey." This brings to mind the
scripture, "the prey of the terrible shall be delivered." That
deliverance is reserved for the righteous remnant who place their trust in
Him.
Then comes the entry, "price," which calls to mind
the Lord's "price" for those who are redeemed,
"Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that
hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without
money and without price." (Isaiah 55:1.)
It will be the broken heart and contrite spirit that will again be
sufficient to save us, this time temporally, when meet face to face with our
inescapable doom stemming from the consequences that have arisen due to our
neglect of our responsibility to stand for freedom and against secret
combinations that seek to overthrow the kingdom of our God and his Christ.
The last two words on the page are
Prick
Pride
Indeed, those inflated with pride must be pricked in their hearts that they
might come down in humility before the Lord in this day that the lofty shall
be made low. When the Lord's work is finished, "Every knee shall
bow [voluntarily, spontaneously], and every tongue confess."
Page 385 of the LDS Triple Combination
Index has several overlapping word meanings to those found on page 385 of the
Topical Guide as seen above, as well as some additional correlations to the
idea of the regions in Utah that will be receiving the new telephone code.
Value [Price]
Vanish [Preserve (righteous gathered out)]
Vanity (see also Pride)
Vengeance [Prevail]
The second word on page 385 is:
Valley
This certainly fits the geographical characteristics of the regions that
will take on the 385 telephone prefix. There is Utah Valley to the south
and Bountiful and Ogden Valleys to the north.
Page 385 of the Book of Mormon
spans Helaman 7:7-22 which is the prayer of lamentation that Nephi, son of
Helaman, offered upon his garden tower for the fated people who had gone
astray after having had so much light and knowledge.
Page 385 of the Eight
Translation New Testament begins with the following reference.
"he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither
wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from
his mother's womb.
16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the
hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of
the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord." (Luke
1:15-17.)
The abstinence idea links to the "awake" idea on page 385 of
Zodhiates, in contrast to the "foolishness" of 801. Being
filled with the Holy Ghost is a hallmark attribute of those who adhere to the
gospel of Jesus Christ, and is exemplified in the remnant.
All "to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

Synchronous Google Search on 385 |
May 29, 2000
Note of Tangent (skip to conclusion)
Here's a little something else I came across in the course of doing this
study.
The following was pulled from the second page of a Google
search on "385 code."
It turns out that it is Title 47 of the US Code that pertains to
"...telephones..." and not just section 385, which is one of so many
sections of title 47. Still, seeing this on the second page of the
search engine results did hit me as being interesting, though it may not have
high statistical relevance.
To me, there is no doubt that the Lord intentionally set up
these correlations to provide commentary and instruction for many of his
remnant people of these latter days as they prepare to pass through the most
challenging trials of discernment, enduring, and overcoming that have ever
been on this earth. The prize of Zion will make the trials easily worth
while, but meanwhile, the rigors of alertness are utmost keen. It
behooves us to appreciate and put to good use helps such as are provided in
the encoded messages of scripture, designed for those who have eyes to see and
ears to hear.
The strong and numerous cross-links between 385 and Isaiah 52
are yet another witness that the heart center of the latter-day people of God,
or of Zion -- the Gentile husbandmen for the the second advent of Messiah --
is in the Rocky Mountain West, especially Utah; even as it lay in Jerusalem
for the first coming of Messiah.
