First, Last, Middle
and Messiah's Mission and Identity
Introduction
|
I am Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the end,
the first and the last.
|
|
-- Revelation 22:13
|
The scriptures sometimes refer to deity in terms of "Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the end, the first and the last." They also speak
of Messiah coming in the "meridian of time."
Fittingly, many first, middle and last words and numbers associated with
scripture tie into and elaborate upon the concept of deity and the work of
Messiah both at the first advent with Jesus Christ among the Jews as well as
with the latter-day second advent in the person of the Davidic Servant, who is
the Father come in the flesh among the Gentiles. These word-number
correlations elaborate on the nature of that ministry (which is accomplished
by many individuals who operate in the order of one mighty and strong) as well
as pinpoint the specific identity of the person fulfilling that mission in its
primary manifestation.
This study is not comprehensive, but presents sufficient material to
establish the case beyond reasonable doubt. This study is but one of
many that have been done to set forth the same conclusions. Many of
these other write-ups are linked below and are found at this same web site, www.GreaterThings.com.
Alpha
and Omega Words
In the Hebrew
Old Testament Lexicon
The very first word in the Hebrew lexicon to the Old
Testament is ab ("!),
which means "Father." We might call to mind Jesus' plea in
Gethsemane saying, "Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee;
take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou
wilt." (Mark 14:36.)
There is a great deal to be learned from this word. This has been
written up elsewhere. See "God the Father
and Mother in Alphabetics Bible Code."
The very last word in the Hebrew lexicon to the Old
Testament, Tattenay (*1;;)
means "gift." This brings to mind the free, undeserved gift
of salvation that is available to all without money and without cost.
In fact the key qualifier for salvation, unique in the gospel of Christ, is
realizing that we are incapable of qualifying in and of ourselves and that
we need to turn to God that he might give us a new heart and fill us with
His Spirit.
The same will be true in the end times in the temporal deliverance that
will come to the Lord's people as a whole at the end of the three and one
half years of tribulation captivity in which Satan's beastly kingdom
prevails. We will not deserve it, but God will grant it because of our
broken hearts and contrite spirits in realizing our foolishness in so fully
falling for Satan's kingdom on earth, the socialist New World Order.
Gift.
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath
no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without
money and without price.
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour
for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that
which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and
I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of
David.
4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and
commander to the people. (Isaiah 55:1-4)
I believe that the placing of this word "gift" as the last word
in the lexicon is God's way of spotlighting a most fundamental principle
relevant to both the first and second comings of Messiah.
The irony is that mankind are so slow to accept this generous gift. They
don't understand his work. He comes as a thief in the night,
unexpected, outside of their expectations.
Fittingly, the very middle word in the Greek New Testament lexicon (5624
-- last word -- divided by two = 2812) means "Thief," with Zodhiates giving the antonyms "(2110), a worker
of good, (1395), a giver."
745-2812 was the phone number where I was staying the
summer after first discovering this alphabetics code.
In the Greek New
Testament Lexicon
The very first word listed in the
Greek New Testament Lexicon is a (").
The definition for this word in relation to God could be the subject of an
entire book or more. Here we will attempt to touch on some of the key
points, taking the explanations for the word given by Zodhiates'
and discussing their ramifications.
1. " a; indeclinable,
neut. noun. Alpha, The first letter of the Greek alphabet which
corresponds in name, order, and power to the Hebrew aleph.
The Rabbis say, "To define Aleph is to define God." (Written by the Finger of God, page 165.) In
these sister languages, Aleph/Alpha stands for God.
Continuing with the definition, note the extremes of meaning, from
negation to augmentation to neutrality, and interesting linguistic variation
of the idea of last, first, and meridian:
(I) A is used as a prefix in
compound words as a particle to denote:
(A) Negation or privation; apart from,
without [see write-up on Useless &
Nothing]
(B) Intensity increasing the meaning
of the simple word; augmentative.
(C) Collectiveness or assembling, from
hama (260), same, together, with.
Continuing with the definition for word number one in the NT lexicon:
(II) Alpha is used with the last
letter of the Greek alphabet (omega [5598]) in the expression
"alpha and omega, the first and the last," which is applied to
God the Father or Christ (Rev. 1:8, 11; 21:6; 22:13). The Hebrews,
the Greeks, and the Romans all used their alphabetical letters as
numerals, which accounts for the ease with which alpha and omega also
represent first and last.
(A) ...Thus in Revelation, alpha
indicates that He is the one who brought all things into existence, and
omega that He is the one who will bring them to their determined end.
The very last word in the NT lexicon is 5624: ophelimos,
"Helpful, profitable, useful. In Zodhiates',
it has a nearly one-to-one correspondence of synonyms to antonyms and
antonyms to synonyms with word 888, which is the sum of the numeric values
associated with the letters that spell "Jesus" in Greek. See
write-up 888 and 'Without Hands'.
Though 5624 is the last definition alphabetically, the last word
mentioned by Zodhiates as part of the etymology of the word is word 4053:
4053 perissos Over and above, more than
enough. (I) Particularly as exceeding a certain measure, meaning more than
(Matt. 5:37, "what is beyond" or more than these). (II)
Generally, superabundant, abundant, much, great. (A) beyond measure; (B)
More abundant, distinguished, excellent, better. Excellence, preeminence. Syn.
(3187), greater; (5228),
over, above; (3123), very much; (2089), more; (4119), more than.
I find this definition personally exhilarating inasmuch as the name of
this website and this ministry is "Greater Things," after III Ne.
26:9
"And if it so be that they shall believe these things then shall
the greater things be made manifest unto them."
The word "greater" is found ten times on page 1151 where word
4053 is found.
Word 1151 in the Greek NT lexicon derives from word 1150, which means,
"tame," which is a primary meaning of the Hebrew word Aleph
(441, 502), which is the first letter of the Hebrew
alphabet.
Words Around "Middle"
in LDS Topical Guide
The words "middle" and "meridian" are not included as
topics in the LDS Topical Guide, but their alphabetical insertion points come
in close proximity (on page 318), and are found in the
midst of a sequence of very fitting words in the context of Messiah.
I will list them here in the order they appear, along with the insertion
points for "meridian" and "middle." My comments are
added in [brackets].

where he is reviled by man. Methuselah could have ascended with the
City of Enoch, but chose instead to stay below to perpetuate a righteous

"gentle," again a cardinal attribute of God counterbalancing the
attribute of might.]
These words are on page 318 and 319 (mainly 318). See study below on
"half way between II Nephi and
Moroni," which also happens to be on a page 318.
Alpha and Omega and Fractions
The last word of the NT lexicon is numbered 5624. One quarter of this
is 1406. Zodhiates defines word 1406 in the NT lexicon as follows:
1406 drachme A drachma. A Greek coin of silver
equal to a quarter of the
Jewish shekel.
There in the very definition of the 1/4th word is the phrase,
"a quarter."
On page 1406 of Zodhiates' are words 5209 and 5210 which both mean
"You." You is the last word listed in James Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible.
See write-up on "Alpha and Omega and YOU."
The essence of the message is that just as each cell of the body has a
complete set of DNA but manifests but that portion requisite to its function
in the united body, so also does each individual have within them the full set
of godly DNA, each person manifesting but that portion requisite to his or her
mission in the body of Christ, the remaining portions of that DNA being
unexpressed or dormant. And just as some of the body's DNA is designed
to be passed on to new progeny by way of reproduction, so also are there some
in the body of Christ who are sufficiently prepared to grow into the full
measure of Godhood themselves. We live in that day when an entire people
are going to thus come forth: the man child kingdom of God and general
assembly of the church of the firstborn, born of the woman, the church of God.
Below are a few more interesting firsts and lasts.
 | FATHER
 | The very first word in the Hebrew lexicon to the Old
Testament is ab ("!),
which means "Father." |
 | The listing of all the words of the Bible, Old and
New Testament, runs for 1340 pages in James Strong's Exhaustive
Concordance of the Bible. 1340 x 1/4 = 335.
Page 335 of Strong's Concordance is where the entry "father"
begins. |
 | The very last page of the LDS Bible
Dictionary/Topical Guide/Joseph Smith Translation/Gazetteer, prior to
the maps (which are in printed in color on a cardstock-like paper), is
828. On page 828 of Webster's III '61
dictionary is the definition father. |
|
 | MESSIAH
 | The last word in the OT lexicon is numbered 8674. Dividing that
by two gives 4337, the middle or meridian word.
Word 4337 in the Hebrew OT lexicon is Mesha (3:*/), "safety," which with the
proper vowel points could be pronounced "Messiah," which is
the English pronunciation of the Hebrew "Moshiach." The
next word Gesenius lists is word 4339, which means, "(1)
straightness, happiness; (a) sincerity,
probity; (b) justice; (2) peace, friendship, from the idea of evenness
and easiness." These reflect the meaning of the Hebrew word Aleph
(441, 502), which is also the first letter of the
Hebrew alphabet. |

Half Way Between Second Nephi and Moroni
When I was living in my parents' home in Fountain Green, Utah, I used to
jokingly give directions to our place by saying it is "half way between
Second Nephi and Moroni," referring to Interstate 15 exit 225 in Nephi
Utah, which is the second of three exits coming from either the North or the
South on I-15 and the town Moroni just beyond Fountain Green. My
parent's home is about a twelve minute drive to either town.
Having said this so many times, one day (May 4, 1997 to be exact), I got
curious as to what might be found "half way between Second Nephi and
Moroni" in the scriptures. I pulled out my Book or Mormon and noted
the page number where the book of Second Nephi ends. It is half way down
page 117 (117 ½). Then I looked up where the book of Moroni
begins. It is half way down page 518 (518 ½). I then calculated
that the midpoint between these two locations in the Book of Mormon would be
the very first verse on page 318, whatever that was.
I then opened to that page and started reading. The first complete
phrase is:
"...they were gathered together in one body in the valley..."
(Alma 43:15.)
That struck me because I had been talking just in the past 24 hours with a
couple of my dearest friends about moving here to Fountain Green with
us. In fact one of my friends from Pocatello was paying us a visit at
the time, and ended up looking very seriously at buying some property and
building next to us. There are many like-minded patriot Saints moving to
the valley, recognizing it as a place of refuge for when the tribulations are
poured out upon the backsliding people of this nation in the days to come.
What comes before and after that phrase is astonishingly fitting of the
idea of "half way between Second Nephi and Moroni," speaking of the
directions of how to drive here. Nephi is mentioned prior to the verse,
and Moroni is mentioned following the verse. Even the word
"driven" is included. I will quote the verses with my
comments indicated in [brackets].

Half Way Between
II Nephi and Moroni

50 And they began to stand against the Lamanites
with power; and in that selfsame hour that they cried unto the
Lord for their freedom [many patriots gathering in Sanpete
Valley, including in Fountain Green], the Lamanites began to flee
before them; and they fled even to the waters of Sidon.
51 Now, the Lamanites were more numerous, yea, by more than double [II/Second] the number
of the Nephites [Nephi];
nevertheless, they were driven
[driving] inso-
[<<p.318>>]
much that they were gathered together in one body in the valley [Sanpete
Valley], upon the bank by the river Sidon.
52 Therefore the armies of Moroni
[name of town just South of F.G.] encircled
them about [half way between Nephi and Moroni], yea,
even on both sides of the river, for behold, on the east were the men
of Lehi.
53 Therefore when Zerahemnah saw the men of Lehi [Nephi] on the east [North of F.G.] of
the river Sidon, and the armies of Moroni
[Moroni] on the west
[South of F.G.] of the river Sidon, that they were encircled about by
the Nephites, they were struck with terror.

Note about Pages 318:
On March 22, 1998, I discovered that the location of the insertion point of the word "middle"
in the LDS Topical guide, with surrounding words mentioned above, is
page 318 -- the very same page number as this midway point between
Second Nephi and Moroni.
Word 318 (0*9(!) in the OT lexicon
means "at the last."
Word 318 in the NT lexicon means "necessity." See
write-up on "Jesus Christ:
Necessary and Sufficient." One of the synonyms that Zodhiates
gives for word 318 is word 5532, chreia, which is the etymological
root of word 888, achreios. 888 is the sum of the numeric
values of the letters that spell Jesus in Greek. See write-up on "888 and 'Without Hands'."
Another synonym Zodhiates gives (actually
twice) for word 318 is 1163, dei "it is necessary."
I find this personally relevant inasmuch as 11 is the month I was born, '63
was the year, and the Greek word for 1163 is dei, which
transliterated sounds like "day." [More birthday links below.]
On page 318 of Gesenius'
OT lexicon is found word 2891 (9%)),
which is the one-third-of-the-way-through point. The total number of
words in the OT lexicon, 8674 x 1/3 = 2891.3
It means "(1) to shine, to be bright; noon; (2) to be or become
clean, or pure (a) in a physical
sense; (b) in a Levitical sense; (c) in a moral
sense." The word Gesenius lists immediately before it likewise
means "pure, clear, unmixed, unalloyed, e.g. as of gold." [match word 1505 "purity" below]
The "moral" purification has to do with the first Messianic
advent. The "physical" has to do with the Second.
Page 318 of Zodhiates' NT lexicon is the ninth
of a twelve-page definition for baptizo. The first string of
words on the page is "physically introduces a person into the kingdom
of God." This is a perfect yin/yang contrast between the first
and second Messianic advents. The first advent brought about spiritual
salvation, to which salvation Baptism is part of the gate into the walk as a
disciple. The second advent is more about a physical introduction of
the kingdom or government of God.
Note about "Valley" and
"River" and Aleph
The address of my parent's home is 650 West Big Springs Road. They are
about a mile down from the spring that provides culinary and irrigation
water for that end of the valley. My parents built their home right on
the wash where a small trickle of waters still flows on occasion. They
build a diversion canal to go around their home. With this in mind,
consider now the definition of word 650 in the Old Testament Hebrew lexicon
(Gesenius):
650 8*5! (1) a
channel, tube, so called from the idea of containing. (a) a channel, bed
of a stream; (b) a brook, a stream; (c) a valley itself, especially as
watered by a stream. (2) strong, robust
"Strong" is also the definition of the Hebrew word "allon"
(440 0&-!) which is the closest word
in the Bible to our last name, Allan. The word just after that is aleph (441 4&-!)
which is the name of the first letter of the Hebrew
alphabet.
Note about first and last elements of the
name Sterling David Allan
David = 181 in phonetic/mnemonics
Three days after making the "II Nephi - Moroni midpoint"
discovery, I came upon the following method for deriving a number to look up
in relation to a name.
| A well-known memorization technique by which numbers may be more
readily committed to memory, is to convert the numbers to
phonetic/mnemonic letters by which words can be created, which are
easier to remember than numbers. What I thought to do was to
reverse that process, thereby converting a word or name to a number,
which I could then look up. |
see the letter - to - number conversion table.
|
Take the name "David" for example. The vowels are ignored
by this technique (whereby words can be made from consonant sounds). D
= 1; V = 8; so David, or DVD is 1.8.1.
Word 181 in the Old Testament Hebrew lexicon means "brand," as
in the "brand" and branch spoken of in Zechariah 3 in reference to
the Davidic Servant and his female companion.
On page 181 in the LDS Topical Guide is heading, God the
Father--Elohim/Eloheim
(See separate study: The oneness of
Adam- Michael- God, Jesus, and Messianic David-Father)
On page 181 in Zodhiates'
New Testament Greek lexicon is the second of a 3.5-page definition number
444, anthropos, "Man," including the explanation,
"the designation, the Son of man, was used by the Lord Jesus to
designate His Messiaship." The number four symbolizes man.
on page 181 of the Book of Mormon, D&C and PGP Triple Combination
Index are the headings, "Jesus Christ -- Messiah; Jesus Christ -- Only
Begotten Son; Jesus Christ -- Redeemer."
Toward the middle of page 181 of Written by the
Finger of God is the entry, "Middle,
in the midst, meridian."
The antonym of word 181 on page 111 [number of God] in Zodhiates' New Testament Greek lexicon likewise has
strong relevance to the concept of the Messianic Davidic Servant.
181 akatastasia Commotion, tumult [stir] (...2 Cor.
6:5, "uncertainty of residence," i.e., exile.
Ant. eirene (1515), peace, tranquility [is definition of
Shiloh in Hebrew]; hesuchia (2271), quietness; apokatastasis
(605), restoration [restitution of all things]; taxis (5010),
order [setting in order].
The antonym of "uncertainty of residence" would be
"certainty of residence," which is ironic in our context, seeing
as we are pinpointing a place of residence that was a transient arrangement.
Allan = 52 in phonetic/mnemonics
Using this phonetic/mnemonic method, the Biblical name Allon has
a value of 52. Word 52 in the Old Testament Hebrew lexicon means
"father of gift." "Father" is the meaning of the
very first word in the Old Testament Hebrew lexicon, and
"gift" is the meaning of the very last word in
that lexicon.
Growing up at 7225
The address of the home where I grew up in Boulder Colorado is 7225
Empire Drive. Word 7225 in the Old Testament Hebrew lexicon is:
7225 ;*:!9 (from :!9 head, chief) (1) beginning; (2) a former state; former
times; (3) the first of
its kind; (a)with regard to time, first fruits; (b) with regard
to dignity, the first, chief.
The first occurrence of this Hebrew word for "first" in the
Bible is Ex. 23:19, "...the first of the firstfruits...."
1130 and 1163:
November 30, 1963 Birthday
My birthday is November 30, 1963: 11/30/63. On page 1130 of
Zodhiates' is found eight words (3964-3971), all of which have to do with
the word "father," having the prefix "patri."
The gametria of the Greek word patri is 491.
patri = p (80) + a (1) + t (300) + r (100) + i
(10) = 491
This (491) was my telephone prefix
in Mapleton just prior to moving down here to Manti early this year.
The root word for "father" is pater.
3962 B"J0D pater
A father, spoken generally of men and in a special sense of God.
Progenitor, ancestor, father, mentor, or model.
The gametria of this name is:
pater = p (80) + a (1) + t (300) + e (8) + r
(100) = 489
489 is the first phone prefix in
Mapleton, where my father was born, and his father before him.
The 489th chapter of the Bible is Psalm 11. JST-Psalm 11:1-5 is
found in the LDS Bible Joseph Smith Translation appendix on pages 800,
801. 801 is the telephone area code of Wasatch Front Utah, Mormon
headquarters, which metaphorically is equated with the bride who currently
is playing the whore with the gods of the land. [See "Mormons and 801" write-up.]
In the middle of page 1130 of Zodhiates is the following definition:
3966 patriarches
(from patria (3965), race lineage, and arche (746), beginning or head. A patriarch,
the father and founder of a family or tribe, e.g., Abraham; the sons of
Jacob as heads of the twelve tribes; David as the head of a family.
The gametria of this word is:
patriarches = p (80) + a (1) + t (300) + r (100)
+ i (10) + a (1) + r (100) + ch (600) + e (8) + s (200) = 1400
The numeric sum of the name STERLING DAVID ALLAN in all caps in ASCII code is 1400.
STERLING DAVID ALLAN = S (83) + T (84) + E (69) + R (82) +
L (76) + I (73) + N (78) + G (71) + [sp] (32) + D (68) + A (65) + V (86) + I
(73) + D (68) + [sp] (32) + A (65) + L (76) + L (76) + A (65) + N (78) =
1400
Words 1400 in the Old and New Testament lexicons are very similar.

"Men" is the heading on page 670 of James Strong's Exhaustive
Concordance of the Bible, which is the midpoint of its 1340
pages. Page
650 is where the "man" entry begins.
"Man" is also the definition of word 435 in the NT Greek. (435
is Utah's phone area code prefix outside of Wasatch Front corridor).
[See write-up on "435 and the Mormon
Remnant Outcasts"]
Word 1130 (Nov. 30) in the NT lexicon
means "to be naked with the implied meaning of to be poorly
clothed," which is how I was born. It is also the posture we all
take before the Lord in order to be born of God.
A word for "naked" in the Hebrew is word 5783, which is 2/3
times 8674, the very last word in the OT lexicon.
The word before it (5782) means "to be alert, watchful;
to wake to be awake; keeping watch; arouse; arise;" which also, among
other things, fit the idea of birth.
I just discovered (11/9/99) that in the New Testament lexicon as well,
the word before 1130, (1129), means "Exercise of the body by severities
such as fasting, abstinence, or watching."
It turns out that there is a lengthy
series of parallel word definitions between these two sections of the
Old and New Testament lexicons which provides insight into the relationship
between God and man.
On page 1130 of James Strong's Exhaustive Concordance is the heading:
When
Where
"When" fits the idea of November 30 pretty well. The
"where" is also addressed in these Alphabetics Bible codes.
Page 1163 [Nov. '63] of Zodhiates' NT lexicon is the second of a
three-page definition for "faith." The first explanation
coming onto the page from the previous is, "(II) Good faith,
faithfulness, sincerity," the
last of these words being a synonym of the English word sterling.
I particularly like definition IV which Zodhiates proffers:
"As a technical term indicative of the means of appropriating what
God in Christ has for man, resulting in the transformation of man's
character and way of life. Such can be termed gospel or Christian
faith."
Gesenius gives two contrasting definitions for word 1163 in the OT
lexicon, which signify the cause-effect relationship of man's rejection of
the repentance clause extended to him, in this case for societal repentance.
Rejecting of such an invitation leads to societal destruction, as the sword
of their own wickedness falls upon their own heads. In
prophetically describing such retribution under the superintending hand of a
just God, the Lord describes the pending treading down of the recalcitrant
Gentiles by the remnant of Jacob saying, "I am he that doeth it"
(III Nephi 20:19). Word 1163 means "(1) To tread, to trample down; (2)
to kick, to kick backward, applied to the contumacy of men against
God."
I think of the scripture, "And whosoever shall fall on this stone
shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to
powder." (Matthew 21:44.)
Ironically, the word immediately following the insertion point of the
word "Mormon" transliterated into Hebrew is 4823 (2/9/, mirmas), "a treading down,
something to be trodden with the feet." The two words
immediately before and after the insertion point of the word
"Mormon" transliterated into Greek are 3472 (moria)
"folly" and 3473 (morologia) "foolish," which
is the definition of the NT lexicon word 801, which is the telephone area
code for central Utah. The two words before and after these mean
"...e.g. salt not being able to make things salty" (3471), and
"refers to salt that has lost its flavor, become tasteless"
(3474). See write-up Mormons
and 801.
These words are all found on page 1001 of Zodhiates, facing page 1000,
which number is one of the meanings of the word aleph (502-505) in
Hebrew, the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. As a
curious validation of this "Alphabetics word-number" approach, the
first definition on page 1000 is 3463 (murios) "Ten thousand, Deriv.
(3461), a myriad or ten thousand."
Another word of keen interest and application on that page is
4366 musterion (from mustes, a
person initiated into sacred mysteries, which is from mueo
(3453), to initiate, learn a secret). A secret or esoteric knowledge. [Enoch
(as in city of, Zion) in Hebrew means "initiated."]
(I) Denotes in general something hidden or not fully
manifest. 2 Thess. 2:7 speaks of "the mystery of iniquity" [See The Man of Sin Revealed].
(II) Some sacred thing hidden or secret which is
naturally unknown to human reason and is only known by the revelation of
God.
(III) Paul speaks of the
mystery of the relationship between Christ and His Church
as being great. Musterion denotes a spiritual truth couched under
an external representation or similitude and concealed or hidden thereby
unless some explanation is given.
Curiously, the next word on page 1000 means "To shut the eyes,
blink, to squint like one who cannot see clearly," which brings to mind
Isaiah 6:9,10 and Jeremiah 4:22.
The next word and last on the page calls to mind the word
"marring" (Isa. 52:14, III Ne. 21:10). It means
"a blow or wound made in war, also a scar, wheal, or the mark left
on the body by the stripe of the whip. Used figuratively in 1 Pet. 2:24
referring to stripes, quoted from Is. 53:5."
The Hebrew word for "marred" found in Isaiah 52:14 is word 4893
and occurs closely before the word for "Messiah," Meshiyach
(4899) in Hebrew.
On the other side of the word Meshiyach is the word mashal,
"To make like, to assimilate; similitude, parable; hence (1) to put
forth a parable, (b) to use a proverb." I think of Bible codes
such as the ones we are exploring at present.
Sterling D. Allan = 1506 in ASCII code
The numeric sum of the letters that spell "Sterling D. Allan"
in ASCII code is 1506.
Sterling D. Allan = S (83) + t (116) + e (101) + r (114) +
l (108) + i (105) + n (110) + g (103) + _ (32) + D (68) + . (46) + _ (32) +
A (65) + l (108) + l (108) + a (97) + n (110) = 1506
The last page of Zodhiates NT lexicon is 1505.
Words 1505 and 1506 in the NT lexicon have synonymous meanings, 1505 being
derived from 1506.
1505 eilidrineia
(from eilidrines (1506), pure, sincere.) Purity, sincerity, clearness, used
metaphorically.
1506 eilikrines (from heile, the
shining or splendor of the sun, and krino (2919), to judge,
discern.) Sincere, pure, unsullied, free from spot or blemish to
such a degree as to bear examination in the full splendor of the sun.
[Match page 318 Gesenius, 1/3-point word
2891 "pure" above]
These word explanations dovetail into the definition of the English word, sterling.
sterling (probably from A.Sax. steorra, a
star, because some early coins of exceptional purity were stamped with a
star.) An epithet by which English money is distinguished, signifying that
it is of the standard value; hence, genuine; undoubted; of excellent
quality.
The definition for word 1504 in the NT lexicon just prior to the two
words mentioned above is also worth note:
1504 eikon [Enlish "Icon"] A
representation, an image, as of a man, made of gold, silver, or other
material; a monarch's likeness impressed on a coin.
See write-up: Male and Female Elements of
God Expounded in Tri-fold Parallel Between pages 370 through 377 and 781
through 785 of Gesenius' OT Lexicon, Zodhiates' NT Lexicon and Webster's '71
English Dictionary Surrounding the Words Gold and Silver.
Silver and Messiah
Sterling silver is defined as "92.5 parts
silver." The gametria for the Greek word for Messiah (9,FF4@L) is 925.
Messiou = M (40) + e (5) + s (200) + s (200) + i
(10) + o (70) + u (400) = 925
The gametria for the Greek phrase the Messiah (J@< 9,FF4"<)
is 926.
ton Messian = t (300) + o (70) + n (50) + M (40)
+ e (5) + s (200) + s (200) + i (10) + a (1) + n (50) = 926
Pages 925 and 926 of Zodhiates' NT lexicon are
the second and third of a three-page definition/explanation of the word:
3056 8@(@H logos
Word.
Which is the pivotal word used in John 1:1
"In the beginning
was the word...."
For additional commentary on 925 and 926, see 888 and 'Without Hands'.
Transliterating the name "Sterling" into Greek and then taking
the numeric values gives:
Sterling = S (200) + t (300) + e (5) + r (100) + l (30) +
i (10) + n (50) + [g silent] = 695
Word 695 in the NT lexicon is
695 argurokopos (from arguros (696),
silver, and kopto
(2875), to cut, beat out). A silversmith.
Telephone
Number Midpoint Math
Another technique of Alphabetics is to look up the digits of a phone number
in the lexicons to see what commentary may be contained for the person,
family, business or other entity associated with that phone number.
In the Greek New Testament lexicon, the numbers go up to 5624. In the
Hebrew Old Testament lexicon, the numbers go up to 8674. So when
four-digit numbers get larger than this, I will sometimes try dividing them in
half.
That is what I did with the Mapleton phone number I had prior to my current
residence. 491-9155 was the number. I took 9155 and divided
it by two, which is 4577.5
Word number 4578 (rounding up from 4577.5) in Gesenius'
OT Hebrew lexicon is on page 491 -- the phone prefix. It's third
definition, "the breast, the heart, figuratively, the inmost soul,"
carries an allusion to the meaning of "middle."
It's first definition is "Intestines, to come forth from any one's
bowels, to be descended from anyone." At the time I had this phone
number, I was living in my paternal grandmother's home, in what used to be my
father's bedroom.
A word on the previous page is word 4557, which means "number"
and "narration," which is an interesting combination of meanings,
inasmuch as we are seeing how the numbers of words have a narrative function.
On page 491 of Zodhiates' NT lexicon is the
following word whose definition fills the page, beginning at the top of the
page. It is the last word of the delta section
which begins with the word David.
1435 *TD@< doron
Gift. (p. 491)
which is the meaning of the last word in the OT
lexicon. 1-435 is the telephone area code for Manti and everywhere
outside of the Wasatch Front 801 area. (See write-up on 435 Area Code and the Mormon Remnant Outcasts.)
On page 1435 of Webster's III '61 dictionary
are found several words with the prefix "mill" and "milli"
which relates to 1,000,000 and to 1/1000, respectively, which call to mind the
number 1,000, which is one of the representations/definitions of aleph.
When I was living in Alpine, Utah, prior to moving to Mapleton, my phone
number was 763-9155. The last four
digits, 9155, divided by 1/3 is 3051.6. Word 3051 in the OT lexicon
means "to give" -- linking to the meaning of the last
word in the OT lexicon, "gift."
The word immediately before that is:
3050 %* Jah
a word abbreviated from Jehovah (%&%*).
Binary
Code's Last: 127
This discovery was made on Nov. 11, 1999, which is kind of cute in that
this date represented numerically is 11111999.
The binary code is represented by 0's and 1's.

The largest sum using this method is 127 in which all the positions are
1: 1111111. In the world of computer programming, 127
is related to the "maximum" position.
On page 127 of Zodhiates' NT lexicon is word
number 254. The number 127 is half of 254.
Notice that the binary code decreases in increments of one half from left to
right. 32 is half of 64. 16 is half of 32.
The last word on page 127 is word 255:
"unprofitable," with synonym 888 "unprofitable" and
antonym 5624 "profitable, useful." 888 is the numeric sum of
the letters that spell Jesus in Greek. 5624 is
the very last word in the New Testament lexicon.
Also on the page is word 249 with synonym 801. See Mormons and 801.
Word 127 in the Greek NT lexicon comes right after the word for
"eternal, without beginning or end"
(126, aidios [adios]), and before the word for "blood"
(129), as in "flesh and blood" or corporeal.
This word 127 itself has an interesting definition:
127 aidos Modesty, an innate moral repugnance
to a dishonorable act or fashion. It implies reverence for the good as good,
not merely as that to which honor and reputation are attached.
In other words, it is not relativism but absolutism: 127.
The first entry on page 127 of the LDS topical guide, spilling over from
the previous page, is "Everlasting," followed by "every."
One of the words on page 127 in Gesenius' OT
lexicon is 1130 [November 30]
1130 $$%<0"
ben-hadad "son," i.e. "worshipper of
Hadad," or Adodus, the greatest deity of the Syrians.
"Hey, Dad, look, it's me, your son!"
The last word Gesenius lists on page 127 means "to build, to erect;
restore, rebuild" (1129); which might be compared to the process of the
binary code being the building blocks for today's society, which has become so
dependant on the computer. It also calls to mind the
Messianic/prophetic injunction to "build and to plant" after the
"tearing down and roooting out."
Word 127 in the Old Testament lexicon means, "earth, the ground, land,
region, country." This is significant on several counts.
First, in the Jewish tradition, land is everything so far as the covenant made
to Abraham is concerned. It is a centerpiece of their belief of a
Messianic kingdom coming to earth. So having this be word 127 as
representing a sort of pinnacle is very appropriate. As is the
corollary word on page 127 of Zodhiates' NT lexicon which means
"sea" (251, 252).
The Hebrew spelling of word 127 in the OT lexicon also contains profound
insight. 'Adamah (%/$!)
begins with the word "Adam," which stands both for
"everyman" [127] and for Adam-Michael-God.
The suffix is the letter heh (%),
which is a feminine ending for a word, and as a letter represents the
female-dominant attributes of kindness, gentleness, intuition,
sensitivity. Hence the idea of "Eve," which stands for
"everywoman" [127] is also included in the word, as well as an
allusion to her role in stewardship over the earth, "mother earth,"
or "mother nature." See the write-up on God the Father and Mother in Alphabetics Bible Code.
On page 127 of Strong's Concordance are the
word topics, "between" and "betwixt," which is a yin/yang
correlate of the idea of "first" and "last." The
word "beyond" is also found on the page.
In the Appendix of Strong's Concordance is a "Hebrew and Chaldee
Dictionary" as well as a "Greek Dictionary of the New
Testament." The Hebrew and Chaldee Dictionary of the Old Testament
ends with a full page 126, which in essence makes the beginning of page 127
the absolute end.
Last
Page in Gesenius' Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament
The last page of Gesenius'
Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament, 876, links to aleph,
the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, through the word
876, "well," and the number 1000, which is one of the meanings of aleph.
Here is the break down on the connection.
Word 876 in the OT lexicon is the same as word 875:
875 9!" Be'er
(1) a well; (2) a pit
876 (3) [Beer] pr. n.
Word 1000 links to words 875 and 876 as follows, again quoting from
Gesenius.
| 1000 |
%7*" beytsah
an egg
9*" biyr
A well, i.q. 9!"
[875, 876]
|
The second word here is different from 1000, but the way Gesenius lists it
makes it look as if it is still part of definition 1000. His typesetting
style is to list the word number or some kind of note in the margin next to
each new entry. In this case, no such note exists. And aside from
this curious typographical omission, words in immediate vicinity in
Alphabetics studies count for a strong connection.
As another example of this, the number 876 is immediately next to 877,
which is the third toll-free telephone prefix in America, after 1-800 and
1-888.
Word 876 and 877 are the only two words on page 303 of Zodhiates'
NT lexicon. The telephone area code where I grew up in Boulder,
Colorado, was/is 303. The zip code was/is 80303.
The meaning of word 877 is "folly, foolishness, lack of sense,"
which is nearly the same definition as word 801, "foolish," which is
Wasatch Front Utah's telephone area code [home of many foolish (and some wise)
"virgins," to use parable language]. See Mormons and 801.
Ironically the ones who are blind refer to those who are watchful as being
"foolish" -- "apostate" in modern LDS vernacular.
Zodhiates devotes half of page 303 to discussing this variation in reference
to Paul's statement, "Let no man think me a fool," but that his
boasting was a result of his "confidence" in the Lord and was not
boasting but glorifying God, whose servant he was.
Last Page in Strong's Concordance
There are 1340 pages in James Strong's
Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible. Word 1340 in the Greek NT means:
1340 diischurizomai (from 1223), ischurizomai,
to corroborate, confirm, affirm, which is from ischuros (2478),
firm, strong.) To affirm or
assert strongly or vehemently.
The very name of "Strong" is in the word definition, along with
the idea of the "confirming" value of these word code studies.
Word 1340 in the OT Hebrew lexicon is the very last word
of the "B" or beth section. This brings to mind the
word ab or "Father," which is spelled with the first two
letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The very word, ab is
synonymous with "alphabet," which
is fitting inasmuch as the concordance is an exhaustive alphabetical listing
of all the words in the Bible.
Page 1340 in Zodhiates' NT lexicon includes word
4899, suneklektos, which means "Chosen." Word 4899 in
Hebrew, Mashiyach, means "anointed" and is pronounced
"Messiah" in English.
Six of the words on the page begin
with 489x, which was the phone prefix in Mapleton mentioned above.
All of the words begin with the suffix sun, which transliteration
brings to mind the glory of the Celestial.
The four words prior to word 4899 carry the notion of Immanuel or
"God with us."
4895 suneimi To be with. [Immanuel]
4896 suneimi To gather together, convene, bring
together; to perceive, understand. [By pulling together the relevant
information.]
4897 suneiserchomai To go or come in with
someone, to enter with. [Condescension of God.]
4898 sunekdemos A fellow traveler in foreign
countries. ["the earth is my footstool."]
The word following 4899 conveys the idea of the mission of Jacob's son,
Joseph as given in Deuteronomy 33:17, that they "shall push the people
together to the ends of the earth."
4990 sunelauno To drive together into one
place, of wild beasts or persons. Figuratively, to impel or persuade
together.
Another scripture that comes to mind in this context of Messiah Immanuel
and gathering is Ezekiel 34:11-13
"For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my
sheep, and seek them out . . . of all places where they have been scattered
in the cloudy and dark day. And I will bring them out from the people, and
gather them from the countries. . . ."
The first definition on page 1340 of Zodhiates, which spills over from the
previous page, is rather interesting to consider in this context of these word
studies and setting forth these correlations.
4893 suneidesis Conscience, to be one's own
witness, one's own conscience coming forward as witness.
(I) Particularly, a knowing of oneself, consciousness.
(II) Used metonymically meaning a person (2 Cor. 4:2, to commend oneself to
every man). Thought not a synonym, the related term sunesis (4907),
perception, understanding, the ability to understand concepts and see
relationships between them, should be distinguished from suneidesis.
Sunesis is the moral awareness which generally precedes action. Suneidesis
... is a moral awareness that springs from and is conditioned by one's
knowledge of God and his duties to Him. Accordingly it has the duty of
confirming the truth of divine saving revelation designed to meet and
satisfy man's religious need. Thus conscience is the testimony of the Spirit
in man's heart concerning his obligation to God.
Conclusions
There can be no doubt but that the placement of these words and the numbers
associated with them are not accidental. God did this with a
purpose. Encoded within the words is a witness of THE WORD.
In this case we have looked at the first, last, middle and other such words
and numbers and have shown their relevance to the topic of Messiah's mission
and identity.
The conclusions are obvious, but you must make the final connections. We've
set the table, sat you down, placed the meal before you, blessed the
meal. It's your task to put the food into your mouth, chew it up, enjoy
the flavor, swallow and digest.
I hope you have enjoyed the meal and that it will make you a stronger and
more healthy soul.
