The scriptures sometimes refer to deity in terms of "Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the end, the first and the last." They also speak
of Messiah coming in the "meridian of time."
Fittingly, many first, middle and last words and numbers associated with
scripture tie into and elaborate upon the concept of deity and the work of
Messiah both at the first advent with Jesus Christ among the Jews as well as
with the latter-day second advent in the person of the Davidic Servant, who is
the Father come in the flesh among the Gentiles. These word-number
correlations elaborate on the nature of that ministry (which is accomplished
by many individuals who operate in the order of one mighty and strong) as well
as pinpoint the specific identity of the person fulfilling that mission in its
primary manifestation.
